Great if you know its location has no good beach nearby
Timbers met all our expeditions but…. I Knew it was near the airport. Quieter than I thought it would be. I knew there would not be a good beach nearby. The one beach walking distance, kalapaki, is not great considering how long it took you to get here. Otherwise, the Timbers is nice, staff courteous and restaurant is outstanding. Rooms and amenities are also great. We played golf at ocean, which is fine. Great layout and views but not in great shape. It is a nice alternative to a large resort. Much quieter and is def high end.

Christmas at Timbers
Enjoyed our Christmas as a family of 7 at the beautiful Timbers resort. Friendly staff, breathtaking views, and great amenities. My kids loved riding the bikes and visiting the Farm, the pools were beautiful. The daily housekeeping was Mom’s favorite! 🤩

Hit the jackpot for a quiet and private luxury retreat with great restaurant!
Luxury all the way! We arrived at 12:30 pm and our room was ready. We had a 2 bedroom residence and it was immaculate & modern with nice amenities beyond my expectations! Our view was spectacular too with ocean and mountains views! The two infinity pool have beautiful views of the ocean with a great restaurant at the pool. For the most part of our stay we had the infinity pools to ourselves! We were there with a tsunami warning and they told us we were out of the evacuation zone. They told us to stay in place. I have never been in a tsunami warning, but I trusted their judgment. The next morning it was lifted, and I was glad I didn’t have to evacuate, as some resorts near the ocean had to go to higher ground

Beyond my expectations!
A world class resort with a world class staff. Everyone was extremely professional and extraordinarily helpful. Can’t wait to return to Timbers Kauai. It is my first choice for a relaxing get away. The highlight of my vacation was underwater spearfishing. I saw green turtles, colorful fish, eel, and much more. Walking around the 450 acre farm with all the beautiful and exotic animals was just what I needed to relax and decompress after the turmoil in the world today.
