A Tranquil Escape with Exceptional Service
Our stay at Banyan Tree Lijiang was truly unforgettable. The resort is nestled in a peaceful environment with breathtaking views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The villa was spacious, well-maintained, and beautifully designed with local elements that added a unique charm. Service was top-notch — staff were always friendly, helpful, and attentive to detail. From the smooth check-in process to the in-room amenities, everything reflected the Banyan Tree standard of excellence. The breakfast buffet was diverse and delicious, offering both local specialties and international favorites. We especially enjoyed the serene atmosphere throughout the resort, which made it perfect for relaxation and recharging. Highly recommend for couples or anyone looking for a luxury retreat in Lijiang. We would definitely return!

Nice Place
Nice Place with panoramic view. Very friendly service people and a lot of them speak english ;). Our Guest contact Manager Nancy made this a 5 star experience. Shuhe is 5 mins walk and worth visiting. All in all I can fully recommend this place.

Great stay
We stayed 3 nights at Banyan tree Lijiang, the hotel is very conveniently located, 7 minutes walk to ShuHe ancient town and 15 minute ride to DaYan ancient town. The hotel had a beautiful view of the Yu Long snow mountain, we can even see the morning sunshine on the mountain from our bed. Our service rep Nancy took good care of us during our stay, she helped us got the tickets for YuLong mountain cableway and arranged car services during our stay. The hotel’s buffet breakfast is wonderful, lots of great choices. Our jet pool room is wonderful, the private soup is so nice and hot, we love to soak in every night and watch the stars. A wonderful stay at Banyan tree Lijiang. I am so happy I chose this hotel over the others.

Great hotel with a lot of hearts
Beautiful hotel with heart. We stayed there for 4 nights, there were so many activities for kids and staff are so thoughtful! We learnt about succulent, make aroma candle, fed the rabbits and fishes and the staff made us feel at home! Nancy was great, she is super patient with us and also give us great advice where to go with kids. With every activity, we feel that the staff is very proud of working at banyan and very caring to their guests! We went to la shi hai, and bai sha per their recommendation. It’s a wonderful stay and we will be back.

Amazing Views, Fantastic Service, Calming Ambiance
We were here only for a night and the hotel lived up to the hype of tranquility and with amazing views of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. We booked the mountain view room and got a glimpse of the sunrise hitting the mountain. Room was complete with amenities, buggy service was fast, and the hospitality was great - the staff go out of their way to help you book attractions especially for foreigners with no China phone number. The breakfast was ok but not amazing compared to similar hotels in Thailand and Indonesia. The hotel is a ways away from the city center (~30 mins) but is enroute to the main attractions like the Jade Dragon & Tiger Leaping Gorge scenic sites. It is also about half a kilometer away from the Shuhe Old Town which makes for a good afternoon stroll and a local meal. Prices are marked like a 5-star hotel and the Banyan Tree Lijiang does not disappoint.
