There are numerous positives but too many areas needing attention. Plusses include location off the main streets in a quiet neighborhood with several close restaurants (Cave Real); responsive valet/porter assistance; fast, efficient and helpful check in; upgrade to club floor on high floor with great views over the city; spacious, comfortable room with large bathroom. That said they need to address the following: Bathroom has tub/shower combo but much prefer walk in shower; tub is slippery and has no handrails that would assist entry/exit while a bath mat would help with the slippery tub bottom; lack of dedicated club lounge (recently eliminated) is a major negative. Despite these issues we had a good 3 night stay and would return.

Service is excellent. Pool was nice, bar was great. We upgraded to club level. Even though there was no lounge thr food and service in the bar was excellent. I did get tired of Sauvignon blanc every day at Happy hour. Food at breakfast was good. Eggs, sausage, cereal, fruit. Cortado was cold this morning. I do wish there was more service available at the bar but we saw people ordering from the lobby bar apparently both food and wine. Even though this is far from the main tourist area we liked the location because it let us come back to a peaceful place. We don’t often stay at Sheraton, we do stay at Marriott properties, but we will certainly do so in future. This hotel deserves five stars.

We had a group of 25 stay here prior to cruise. Service was great, rooms were very nice. Easy walk to some great restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good happy hour every evening. And fantastic breakfast was offered. Added bonus great view from the rooftop room.

Positive - Service, they try to please ( all except for one young lady at the reception desk). Location in a safe, residential and business neighborhood well located for many business, trendy restaurants and upscale shopping. Away from touristy places yet easy enough to reach other parts of the city by public transportation. About 30 minutes by foot to the historical area of the city, less than 10 euros by Uber ride from cruise port. Good happy hour for elite members. Good noise insulation and blackout shades in the rooms. Nice breakfast buffet. Negative - Hotel is dated, they have refurbished the bathrooms and hallways but the rooms are tired, the phones are yellowed with age, only one plug to charge electronic devices, poor lighting. The bathrooms have been redone, however they are so poorly designed that they are dangerous, the floors are slippery when wet, the bathtubs are slippery, there is a tripping hazzard at the entrance of the bathrooms. There are only a couple of rooms with showers so you are stuck with a bathtub. Additionally, the doors in the bathrooms don't close all the way so there is no privacy (read: odors, noises) Brakfast buffet is good but servers are running around like crazy, in fact they often run into each other and the guests. It makes for a frenzied experience, they need to slow down, I don't mind waiting another 30 seconds for my coffee. Happy hour, while it is nice it would be so much better if they had a separate executive lounge for elite members rather than the general bar area, which gets very loud and busy. Also the live music at the bar is so loud that it is disturbing and impedes conversation, it would be so much nicer and sophisticated to have a relaxing ambiance, maybe instrumentals, or jazzy background music. Yesterday a president of an African country arrived with his entourage while a singer was whaling away at the top of her overly amplified screetchy voice oblivious to it. Very disrespectful on top of being unpleasant.

We stayed at the Sheraton Lisboa Hotel & Spa for our first visit to Lisboa and it was an excellent decision. We were in touch with the hotel prior to our arrival and made arrangements both on our own and through our Marriott concierge service for a variety of tours, dinners, and spa appointments. Their concierge service personnel were simply wonderful: welcoming, professional, and anxious to make the guest experience to Lisbon and the Sheraton hotel a memorable one! Thanks, Ana Sophia! The hotel has all of the amenities one could want: excellent dining, fabulous spa, lovely rooms, and a central location near to everything. We will return again on our next visit to Portugal! P.S.
