The Wigwam

The way the Wigwam acts like their pool is top notch and you have to sign a waiver for a wrist band and sign your life away and be threatened to get towels is a joke. I’ve been to much nicer properties and that isn’t an issue. Relax Wigwam, we don’t want your old, crusty, faded pool towels.

This location is filled with incompetence. Upon my arrival at the wigwam resort I witnessed an ederly lady fall down over a curb and was not getting up. My wife and I stopped and began rendering first aid and summoned security. Approximately 10 minutes later security arrived. They were completely incompetent and I directed them to contact the fire department as I continued to treat the patient. The security department did nothing involving assistance and was only interested in the lady's name and address. I asked if any one had medical experience for which they acknowledge yet did not get involved. Ems eventually took over and took patient care with no assistance from the wigwam security. As a retired law enforcement commander and fire fighter I would have thought a resort of this would have competent staff to deal with such incidents. They all froze. Later in the evening we met with friends who were staying at the resort. I must acknowledge we have been regular customers since 2016 and have noticed a huge decline in the restaurant and bar industry at this location. The group had a couple of drinks and some of us had zero. No one in this party where anywhere near intoxicated. A couple staying at the resort asked for another drink and were denied with the claim "we feel uncomfortable in serving you another drink". No one in this party where anywhere close to intoxicated and were singled out for no reason. When confronted as to who they were talking of the staff nor management could identify the reason for the decision. I have been a member of this community for well over 10+ years and am disappointed by the lack of quality leadership and personnel direction wigwam has taken. We truly enjoyed our weeklong stay at the Wigwam! From our room, to the property, to all of the staff, we were extremely happy with our choice of hotels.

I was at the Wigwam for a business meeting and was able to stay for a few extra days. I was able to work from my room with no problems at all. The view of the Oasis Pool and grounds was amazing from my porch. It was a very relaxed and enjoyable time. Accommodations, food and staff were all great. I can't wait to go back again.
