From art installations to a poet in residence, the Andaz London Liverpool Street captures London's exuberantly creative spirit. This classic Victorian hotel turned hip urban retreat is "a style coup for designer Sir Terence Conran," raves Fodor's in August 2005. Bedrooms are chic and sleek at this Luxury Resorts affiliate, while dining is some of the best in the city at Aurora, shimmering beneath a stained glass dome, and the Fishmarket with its seductive Champagne bar.

Came for location (neighborhood, transit links at Liverpool Street Station next door). Service and atmosphere really stood out. Room and blanket preferences from a prior stay followed us seamlessly during a room change. Filippo was of great help there. Jude was a great Host, as were Trimane, Joanna, Richard and others. When my spouse got nailed at the train station by a rafter pigeon, Jad Lian dropped everything to say "Come with me now!" and got her taken care of. Really great stays, family loved.

I recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Andaz Hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel at home from the start. My room was very spacious with a modern twist. The hotel’s location is perfect, just a short walk from major attractions. The bar has a cool vibe with great cocktails and atmosphere. Overall, our experience was exceptional. If you're looking for stylish accommodations with great service, the Andaz Hotel is the place to be! I can't wait to return.

stayed at this hotel for a single night while visiting London for planned activities, and its location was undoubtedly one of its strongest assets. It’s incredibly convenient—just a 30-second walk from Liverpool Street Station’s main exit and about 60 seconds from the Elizabeth Line, making it perfect for travelers. The exterior is grand and historic, dating back to 1882, which sets high expectations. Upon entering, the welcoming staff immediately offered drinks and refreshments, creating a great first impression. The lobby was modern and stylish, clearly reflecting the care put into the hotel’s presentation. Check-in was quick and efficient, with all necessary information provided. The hotel has three sets of lifts, ensuring minimal wait times even at full capacity. The room numbering system could be slightly improved, but we found ours relatively easily. Our Queen room was clean and spacious, with a large flat-screen TV offering a wide selection of channels, including Sky Sports and international options. Screen mirroring was available, though I couldn’t get it to work immediately—though I didn’t spend much time trying. The bathroom had a nice shower, a stylish sink, and premium toiletries. The toilet had a unique airplane-like suction system, which was surprisingly loud at first but easy to adjust to. One downside was the lack of a view—our room faced the station roof and surrounding high-rises. The bed itself was very comfortable, with multiple pillows of varying firmness, and there were plenty of charging options, including USB-A ports. However, the biggest issue was noise. The windows weren’t soundproof, and being near a police station meant frequent, loud sirens throughout the night. Additionally, the doors didn’t block noise well, and some guests were inconsiderate, talking loudly in the halls late at night. The highlight of the stay was breakfast. While the selection wasn’t the largest, it was high-quality, with plenty of options—vegetarian hot dishes, cold selections (fruit, pastries, yogurt, cereals), and made-to-order items like eggs, bagels, and waffles. The masala omelette was delicious, and the staff were attentive and friendly. Final Verdict: A fantastic location with stylish interiors, great service, and excellent breakfast, but noise insulation needs improvement for a truly restful stay.

The hotel is conveniently located next to the train. Depending on which room you get put in, there could be a lot of noises on the street level given pubs are on the street level. From our room on the 2nd floor, it was extremely loud during the day when a football match was on and in the evening when people were at the bar. One other annoyance is that getting to certain rooms, you’ll have to swipe your keycard multiple times to get through doors to other wings.

We recently enjoyed a luxurious stay at Andaz London. Our room was light and spacious, with high ceilings, a comfortable king sized bed and essential amenities for our stay. I love that the hotel is dog-friendly; the dog amenities included a dogbed, dog bowls and some snacks. There are five on-site dining venues and we had a delicious Japanese lunch at Miyako. We also enjoyed the breakfast options and for to try their limited Hong Kong French toast in collaboration with HOKO. Conveniently located by Liverpool Street station, the Andaz provides unparalleled access to London’s extensive transport network and is also within walking distance to iconic attractions such as the Tower of London, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and the vibrant neighborhoods of Shoreditch and Spitalfields.
