About the Hotel

Good location. Service was eh.
Right next to train station - easy ride to LHR. Nice gym. Plenty of complementary snacks in room and at the lobby. However, service was lacking - restaurant service was slow and they weren’t even busy. Food was mediocre. They also don’t do much to acknowledge WoH Globalists. Front desk was junior and clueless and needed permission from their manager Lorraine for everything. Apparently they send Lorraine messages. She never speaks to any one the guests herself.

Hyatt Andaz — reliably great
I’ve stayed at this hotel many times. It always delivers a first-rate experience. It is centrally located and ideal for business or leisure travel. I recommend it highly.

Excellent Service
Excellent service. Great breakfast. Teddies for the kids and daily snacks were a nice touch. Rooms were very clean with comfortable bedding.

Switched hotels for my second stay in as many weeks in London. The best thing about this hotel is it’s incredibly convenient location in London, right next to the Liverpool Street station and the Elizabeth line which takes you straight to Heathrow Airport. It is also convenient to so many restaurants and the business district in particular as I was here for work. The room was excellent, with a very generous work desk for those on business trips. The free mini bar was also an excellent add-on. The bathroom was fantastic with great amenities. Breakfast is also great in both locations. The only issue I experienced was the less than stellar service I received from one person in particular on the front desk. He was completely disinterested in helping the two occasions I spoke to him. I suspect that if I was a hip, young thing, I would have had a better response. On one of those occasions, I asked him where the a la carte breakfast venue was as it wasn’t entirely clear to me. He pointed me in the direction and watched me head there only for me to have to circle back when I realised it was not open. His response? A shrug and “ yes, they don’t open for another hour”. Not sure why he could not have mentioned it before sending me off to look for a non-operating restaurant given it was clear that was where I was heading. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this hotel if you need easy access to some of the business areas and also to the airport.

Lovely City Hotel
Very convenient hotel located right above Liverpool Street Station. Lovely staff, and great breakfast. Rooms are a bit on the smaller side as expected and the daily water refill is a great touch.
