The Athenaeum Hotel & Residences

We had a wonderful stay at the Athenaeum hotel. The staff truly made the experience exceptional—special thanks to Daniel, Pedro, Rahman, and Matt. They made us feel incredibly welcome, almost like part of a family, and their warm hospitality really stood out. The hotel itself was also very nice and clean, creating a comfortable and relaxing environment throughout our stay. Highly recommended, and we look forward to returning!

This place is a cracker. We had the warmest welcome we've ever received and this was a first time visit. We arrived 14/11. It was the night of the staff party and it was clear that this was a great team which probably explains the good vibe (they invited us to join in but we were already committed). We didn't eat there so can't comment on the food. Lovely bar and heated outside seating area where you can watch the world go by. The latter is very rare in upper end hotels in Mayfair (maybe unique). It's a five minute walk from the bustle of Shepherds Market so not an Ivory tower. Thanks to Daniel on the front for being so helpful. Highly recommended and we're going back in two weeks time as a result of our first experience there. Hope that speaks for itself.

We frequent The Athenaeum on our London visits but this time was the best by far. Daniel was always present with a warm welcome a smile. He took care of our baby all the time and made us truly feel at home. Our visit this time was memorable kudos to Daniel and all the staff at the Athenaeum.

He is one of the most welcoming and delightful people I’ve ever met in any hotel worldwide. Othman was beyond outstanding — incredibly supportive, always attentive, and ready to help with anything I needed. His professionalism and positivity raised the entire experience to another level. Yasir Al-Qurashi deserves special recognition as well; his respectful attitude, sincere care, and exceptional service left a lasting impression on me. And Rahman was unbelievably welcoming — a truly remarkable person whose friendliness and dedication made my stay even more enjoyable. Honestly, I can say with complete confidence that the staff here are in a league of their own. Their generosity, kindness, and genuine hospitality made my 20-night stay unforgettable in every way. Without a doubt, whenever I return to London, I will choose this hotel again with zero hesitation, simply because the amazing team makes it feel like a second home.
