The Athenaeum Hotel & Residences

Start from the location to the services to the hospitality everything was great. Love the hotel the stuff how friendly they are. Absolutely will come back again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Athenaeum. We had a park view room, which was stunning and really made our stay amazing, as it was wonderful to wake up in the morning overlooking London's Green Park. The bed was incredibly cosy and spacious, so we slept really well. The staff were great, everyone we met were friendly, helpful and polite, which made our stay even nicer. The lady at reception who checked us in was incredibly helpful and our stay was off to a great start because of her great customer service. A special mention also to Tahrema who works in the View Lounge, who went out of her way to give us advice, was so helpful and is lovely, Kazi and Yasir were also incredibly helpful during our stay, the 4 of them are an absolute credit to the team. The View lounge for hotel guests is a great benefit of staying here, views over the park and skyline of London are wonderful. There are complimentary drinks and snacks throughout the day, breakfast pastries in the morning and canapés are brought up for an hour in the evening. We enjoyed these whilst flicking through the many books and playing games in the lounge. The spa was very relaxing, it has to be booked in advance (luckily we saw this online and booked, so we enjoyed it during our stay). The running machines and spin cycles in the gym gave us a good workout. The bar has a relaxed feel to it, and the ambience is elegant and inviting, it's a really beautiful space to have a drink and has been very well designed. As has the lobby and outdoor terrace. Throughout the day and into the late evening, there were people on the terrace having drinks and food, which is the perfect way to spend a summer's day or evening. Overall, we had such a wonderful stay & came home feeling relaxed and refreshed after just 2 nights. Thank you so much Atheneaum team, we're looking forward to coming back again soon!

This was my first spa experience and the bar has been set high! It is small but this makes it feel cosy and relaxing. All of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I felt confident that they knew what they were doing and therefore safe to relax in their hands. The massage was lovely, I have back pain and it was enough to relax my muscles without pain. The facial was excellent as well, doubled as a face massage so I left the treatment room glowing & on cloud 9. Planning next visit soon.
