The Athenaeum Hotel & Residences

Our stay couldn’t have been any better! Everyone was incredibly kind from the moment we checked in to the moment we left. The room was spotless, and housekeeping truly spoiled us — always making sure everything was perfectly in place and that we had everything we needed. We never had to ask for a thing because it was already taken care of. We dined at the restaurant on both days, and the food was delicious. That’s where we met Milind, who went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. He was both professional and friendly, and we genuinely enjoyed our time there. We also tried some cocktails made by Kazi — absolutely amazing! We would have ordered more if we weren’t already full from dinner. And of course, the hotel’s location is perfect. We loved our time in London, especially our stay at The Athenaeum. You will definitely see us again! Thank you all.

We booked a cocktail masterclass at The Athenaeum on a whim and ended up having one of the best nights out we’ve had in London. Attila guided us through making a few cocktails, was incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable, full of stories, and made the whole experience feel exclusive yet relaxed. We were involved at every step, and the mix of casual, hands-on cocktail making within a five-star setting felt genuinely special. An off-the-beaten-path kind of evening where you just think, “…why not?”, and go with the flow. Highly recommend, especially with Attila.

My wife and I visited for our anniversary and the staff did not disappoint. Our stay started with th lovely Dayanna and Esmay at the reception when we arrived treating us so well and upgrading us due to our celebration and being such fans of the hotel, then they whisked us off to happy hour for bubbly while our car was parked and our bags was taken to our room. It continued the next morning with energetic and so attentive Amanda who made sure we didnt want for anything and she made us feel so special. Then an afternoon in the spa and unfortunately we missed the afternoon tea by 3 minutes but then it's was off for an evening to see what London had to offer and Daniel the forever smiling doorman gave us fantastic advice with his wealth of knowledge also making sure I always had a umbrella at hand ( I can't thank him enough for that). Then the next day it was fond farewell while I paid the bill the cheerful concierge kept my wife chatting and laughing. We left with huge smile on our face but sad to leave such a wonderful hotel family. From Matthew and Kirsty thank you all and we will see all again soon.
