The Chesterfield Mayfair

Wonderful staff. Great neighborhood. Excellent food. Powerful A/C. The only slight negatives are that the rooms are quite small, with very little bathroom counter space, and there is no fitness center. That being said, I’d stay there again in a heartbeat.

This is a fabulous hidden gem in the heart of Mayfair. The staff are fantastic (big shout out to Isreal at check in and Mustafa at the front door)! The rooms are spotless with an old school flair and ambience that is missing from the larger franchise hotels (bathroom is small but perfectly functional). In advance of booking, I read that renovations are being carried out on the premises. I phoned the hotel to understand the time of works and was reassured it was between 10am and 4pm. While I was there, I heard nothing. To soften the impact, the hotel offers residences a free drink in the bar, where the singer tinkered on his mini grand singing a range of old classics.

This is not a modern shiny hotel, and yes some areas are definitely not my style. There is a lot of fabric! However this is our second stay and when we are next in London will be our first choice once again 💕 Why Incredible personal service, everyone takes time with you and preempts your needs. You are utterly looked after and made to feel so special. It’s the best personal service I’ve ever had Fabulous location. Easy walking for the Royal parks, sighseeing around Westminster or shopping 🛍️ Great food. Lovely breakfast. Very cool and calm and quiet indoor areas. Great piano bar for a drink. New rooftop bar due to open Impeccable room service including turndown and regular updates each day on hotel or local events All the team we met were amazing, from Jade at breakfast to the top rate doormen and reception team and the fabulous young woman serving in the piano bar. What a team!

Once again, we had an amazing week-long stay at the Chesterfield. The staff is incredible, from Tamara and Jade in the restaurant, to Mustafá and Vitali and Gyorgy at the door, to Tony who helped with our room; every single staff member treated us like beloved family. I wish I could remember every name, but the concierge staff also took care of so much for us. We’ll be back!

The staff was exceptional. Very kind and helpful. I cannot say enough about them. The food was great. Wonderful vegan options. The piano player was excellent, so talented. The room was extremely comfortable. I am allergic to down and they very kindly substituted hypoallergenic pillows. The location is great as well. I had wonderful memories staying there in 2003. Our 2025 trip to the hotel was just as memorable! We look forward to future trips and staying in our “home away from home.” Thank you to all of the wonderful people who work there!
