The worst hotel experience. Right from check in to the room offered because I booked using points. Be prepared to wait upwards of 30 mins just to be engaged with. Also if your skin color is not the same as the royal family, dont bother. Hyatt needs to get this property off their portfolio. Will never be staying here again!

Excellent location and beautiful hotel! We were able to either walk to tourist attractions or the Tube very easily. The breakfast was great, too!

Our stay at the Great Scotland Yard Hotel was underwhelming to say the least. I’ll start with the good. The hotel is beautiful. Very clean and the rooms were comfortable and stylish. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning kept us cool as we were there during a heat wave. The location of this hotel is also excellent. Now, for the reasons that I’m not sure I would stay here again. If you are traveling with children I would not consider this hotel family friendly at all. It is a very small hotel and definitely is geared more towards couples and those traveling for work. The staff is also very aloof and we had a hard time finding anyone when we needed them. We had two rooms and despite asking far in advance for them to be near each other we were put down a hallway and around d the corner from each other. During our stay the fire alarm went off and there was no direction from anyone and we were unable to find any staff to give us directions on where to go or what to do. I may have liked this hotel more if we hadn’t had our children with us but overall I just felt uncomfortable. We traveled to another European city after this stay and it was like night and day compared to this hotel. I will try a different Hyatt next time I visit London.

The Great Scotland Yard Hotel is a true gem in the heart of London. Every corner of the property reflects its rich history, brought to life with extraordinary attention to detail — something I’ve rarely seen elsewhere. We stayed during Wimbledon and were delighted by the themed sweet amenities in the room. It was also my husband’s birthday, and the thoughtful surprise the team prepared for him made the occasion even more special. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, breakfast was exceptional, and the warmth of the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. One of the most unique hotel experiences I’ve had, truly unforgettable.

Loved our stay at the Great Scotland Yard. It is a perfect location in London but on a quite street and a block from the tube as well. The hotel was beautiful and our room was amazing. I didn't want to leave. The staff was very kind and helpful. We stay again when we go back to London.
