Great Scotland Yard Hotel London

Wonderful two night break - customer service was first class; excellent room; very good breakfast included and a perfect location with Westminster and central London on the doorstep. Yes it was more expensive than we’d usually pay, but it was worth it!! Thanks to all staff for making us feel so welcome.

If you are a tourist, the location is unbeatable. As a globalist, we were treated to a welcome drink of champagne and they upgraded our room. We also got a complimentary mini-bar. The staff was welcoming every time we returned. Speakeasy was beautiful and the drinks on point. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Room and location were good, but experience was poor. Paid for the room in advance but spent 20 minutes or so trying to check in as they tried to charge me again because the 'payment hadn't been allocated by the finance team'. Automatically charged my card again in the middle of the night as it still hadn't been done then tried to charge me again at check out and I had to spend even longer sorting whilst I explained I had already paid. Had dinner in the parlour which was fairly poor and the bar hosting staff were rude when trying to get a drink later on. Drinks were nice but had initially intended to try the other bar too before the issue.

Great location with very clean and comfortable rooms. Lobby was nicely laid out and had interesting art and artifacts to peruse. Staff very friendly!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Great Scotland Yard for a stay in London. The boutique style hotel is well-located (near almost every attraction we wanted to see), beautifully and tastefully decorated, comfortable, and unique. We were there visiting with another couple and all four of us remarked on how much we enjoyed our experience. I'm already looking forward to my next opportunity to stay there.
