Great Scotland Yard Hotel London

Best hotel in London! Centrally located with amazing staff and a beautifully restored hotel. It was truly a lux expereince. The food and room were superb! My lew favorite hotel!

We stayed for three nights for my wife’s birthday. First off the good. The staff are polite and attentive. The hotel is modern, and has a quirky but contemporary design. We booked a Premiere room and was a fair size for London. Not much of a view, even from the fifth floor but I used to work round the corner and knew there isn’t much to see. The bed was very comfortable and the soundproofing is obviously good as nothing disturbed us. In our room, the toilet was separate from the bathroom but it did contain a modern Japanese one with a built in bidet. Strangely, no towel or place to hang one. The shower was a tiled room rather than a glass enclosure, so plenty of room. The breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice and very good quality. Rather nicely they did leave a piece of cake in the room on my wife’s birthday but the card said it was for me. Now the “bad”. When I booked in, they asked to put a 300 pound hold on my credit card. This is fairly standard these days so I didn’t mind. However, there was a mistake and they ended up charging me for my room twice instead. Luckily I had checked my balance on my app. They did eventually sort but only after chasing it twice. No real apology. Not much in the way of freebies in the room. The usual tea, coffee and water but some biscuits would have been nice. They did supply fresh milk though. We couldn’t work out the air-con and woke up cold on the first night. We turned it up but it got fat too hot. We just asked for it to be turned off in the end.

This is truly my favorite hotel in London. It is in the best location, yet quiet, and full of history. The decor and art is next to none, and the staff is truly the best. They go above and beyond for your every need. This is the only place I will stay when I come to London from now on.

Actually it’s the most luxurious hotel I ever stayed besides the staff was so friendly and welcoming also the rooms is very nice and wide .

I had a special time for my birthday with my bf! Room was stanning, spacious and beautifully designed. Toto toilet was my favorite, reminded me of Japan. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of fresh options and lovely stuffs. Special thanks to Alexia and Dilbar and everyone enhanced my stay!!
