Little boutique paradise

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

We booked our London trip through Costco Travel. It included private airport transfers both ways, full English breakfast, and a $400 travel credit we could use toward tours. The package also came with a complimentary afternoon-tea experience at the hotel, which was absolutely fantastic, and the hotel had a 24-hour guest pantry stocked with in-house scones, small hot bites in the evenings, and a fridge full of ice cream — all complimentary. Hotel 41 is boutique, 27 rooms, 5 stars. Probably the best service I’ve ever had anywhere, and I’ve stayed at plenty of luxury hotels. Every single staff member goes above and beyond, and they think of every little detail. Every time we came back to the room after a long day, there was some sort of surprise waiting for us. Breakfast was excellent (and included). The room was large with tons of closet space — I completely unpacked our 3 suitcases, which I never do. I specifically wanted a small, boutique-style hotel, and Hotel 41 completely delivered. The neighborhood around the hotel is right by Buckingham Palace, Victoria Station, and the Royal Mews, so it’s extremely convenient for sightseeing, theater, and transportation. During afternoon tea we were served most delicious scones and clotted cream. I was dreaming of those everyday after :) and on our last day I asked if they could find me those scones for breakfast (which they normally don’t serve for breakfast) and they were so kind and nice to me that they granted my wish and I had breathless baked scones for my last breakfast at hotel 41 - amazing !

Perfection from beginning to end. Champagne and snacks to welcome us. Smiles from each and every single person there. Service is second to none and food and drinks outstanding! They are missing nothing! Can not wait to return!

True 5* service -- worth the money!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

SO happy we spent the extra money to stay here! To come back to our room after a long day of sightseeing, and find slippers laid out, bottles of water on our nightstands, soft music on the TV, a hot water bottle warming the sheets, and a treat on the pillow, really made this hotel feel like a cozy haven in the midst of a big, bustling city. The executive lounge was another terrific feature, from the friendly greeting to the delicious ice cream, scones and meatball ratatouille. A true gem of a hotel, would love to stay here again.

We stayed at "41" this weekend and had the most amazing experience from the time we walked through the entrance to leaving. All the staff were incredibly accommodating and went way beyond our expectations. Thank you all and we look forward to staying with you again in hopefully the near future. Mark and Susie

My bid for a five-day stay at the 41 Hotel in London was accepted. I'm writing to report that the hotel experience was extraordinary. The quality of the room (the bed, the bath, and a full panoply of amenities) was five-star. Even more important, the service was unqualifiedly exceptional — personal, attentive, efficient, friendly. I've been pleased with prior Luxury Link bookings but none has been the qualify of the 41 Hotel. It was truly a private residence with full service experience.

What an experience. Small and quaint where service is personal, efficient, and attentive. Never a want for anything. We arrived on my birthday and were treated like royalty the entire 5 day stay! We were greeted with champagne and a staff that was beyond exceptional. What a treat to return to our room after my b-day dinner to find a heart made of rose pedals on our bed and a room filled with red candles -- and a cake! The staff at 41 is exceptional -- they all went out of their way to make our stay so very special. Love this hotel and plan to return soon. Location is across from the Mews at Buckinham Palace. Descrete and wonderful!

Ever impulsive, we gambled on a "Buy it Now" for Hotel 41. And that gamble paid off (they don’t always - being "impulsive" is way over-rated). BUT - What a lovely place! What a terrific staff - every single one of them! This was truly our home for the week we spent in London. We'd start with breakfast in the lounge, back to the room for a rousing game of Wii volleyball (or basketball), walk all over London, back in time for appetizers and to catch up with the staff and other guests, then back out for a show and dinner or more sightseeing. The staff arranged everything for us: exchanging the complimentary champagne for a wonderful chardonnay when they noticed we declined the champagne, setting up the complimentary Wii in our room, theater tickets, high tea, dinners, tours. My favorite thing was getting back to the room at the end of the night: lights dimmed, candles lit, bottled water replenished on the night stands, classical music playing low in the background, and hot water bottles tucked underneath the beautifully turned down covers. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
