Reviews for Hotel 41

Absolutely the finest

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 21 hours ago

What a gem. Tucked away in the heart of the tourist district but refined and quiet. Rooms are fantastic. They thought of all the niceties and extras that make it special. Night light in bathroom, heated towel racks and floors, a fireplace that works, etc , etc. They are also quite large and well laid out. Breakfast was exceptional, snacks, desserts , and other food all day and night when you want to plunder the pantry ( all complimentary) . Bar service whenever you want. The best part are the people!!!!! All did everything they could possibly do for you and more. Anticipated your needs not just reacted to them. They could not be more courteous, friendly, and efficient. Special shout out to Esin and Antonio, but everyone was exemplary and all seemed happy to help you and also liked their jobs. Best hospitality and hotel !!! Stayed a week and would do it longer if I could. Small , boutique hotel but better than other larger 5 star hotels I stayed at. Thank you all !

What a gem

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We are regular guests at The Rubens which sits on 4 floors below Hotel-41. We have a deep affection for this hotel and, particularly, its excellent staff. On our last visit we enjoyed an upgrade to 41 and we were blown away by this gem of a hotel. As noted in a previous review Hotel-41 is more akin to an exclusive private club. From the moment we were seated in the luxurious Executive Lounge, with a complimentary glass of champagne, to complete the check-in process it was obvious that we were going to be pampered. The lounge facilities were superb, with late night grazing and drinks service, which was just what we wanted after a late evening out. Our room was immaculate, freshly decorated and impeccably clean. The staff were, without exception, brilliant. Hotel-41 provided us with the best hotel experience of our lives. We highly recommend it.

Best Guest Experience Ever

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We stayed at Hotel 41 knowing that it was a highly rated experience. That would be an understatement. We were addressed, by name, by everyone who worked there. We were treated like we were their only guests. The room was very roomy and comfortable. The "extras" like snacks available all day, cream tea in the afternoon, canapes in the early evening and Plunder the Pantry in the after hours, brilliant. The hotel is well located to everything we wanted to see and do. We would rate this experience 5+ if it were possible.

Luxury Experience in the Heart of London

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The staff was incredibly attentive & interactive. My mom & I had a fun time hanging out in their lounge & the staff introduced us to some new favorite drinks. Their "pantry" concept was also very fun. Essentially they always have free snacks & ice cream, but at 8pm every evening they also have one hot dish, some salads, & desserts for dinner. Everything was delicious! The location is also superb--right across from the Royal Mews & steps away from Buckingham Palace. I would definitely love to return here next time I'm in London & stay for a few extra nights.

My bid for a five-day stay at the 41 Hotel in London was accepted. I'm writing to report that the hotel experience was extraordinary. The quality of the room (the bed, the bath, and a full panoply of amenities) was five-star. Even more important, the service was unqualifiedly exceptional — personal, attentive, efficient, friendly. I've been pleased with prior Luxury Link bookings but none has been the qualify of the 41 Hotel. It was truly a private residence with full service experience.

What an experience. Small and quaint where service is personal, efficient, and attentive. Never a want for anything. We arrived on my birthday and were treated like royalty the entire 5 day stay! We were greeted with champagne and a staff that was beyond exceptional. What a treat to return to our room after my b-day dinner to find a heart made of rose pedals on our bed and a room filled with red candles -- and a cake! The staff at 41 is exceptional -- they all went out of their way to make our stay so very special. Love this hotel and plan to return soon. Location is across from the Mews at Buckinham Palace. Descrete and wonderful!

Ever impulsive, we gambled on a "Buy it Now" for Hotel 41. And that gamble paid off (they don’t always - being "impulsive" is way over-rated). BUT - What a lovely place! What a terrific staff - every single one of them! This was truly our home for the week we spent in London. We'd start with breakfast in the lounge, back to the room for a rousing game of Wii volleyball (or basketball), walk all over London, back in time for appetizers and to catch up with the staff and other guests, then back out for a show and dinner or more sightseeing. The staff arranged everything for us: exchanging the complimentary champagne for a wonderful chardonnay when they noticed we declined the champagne, setting up the complimentary Wii in our room, theater tickets, high tea, dinners, tours. My favorite thing was getting back to the room at the end of the night: lights dimmed, candles lit, bottled water replenished on the night stands, classical music playing low in the background, and hot water bottles tucked underneath the beautifully turned down covers. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
