Exceptional, from the moment the door man opening the front doors we were made to feel welcomed and part of the Doyle Collection. The Kensington has a vibe that's just so different to the Marylebone yet there are some similarities and that's a lovely touch i.e. The Bar.

Amazing stay at The Kensington
We had a superb night at The Kensington on Saturday. Staff are simply brilliant. The hotel is not small but feels very boutique and it feels like the whole team truly care that you have a great experience. Food is great, furniture and decorations are stunning. We have been back 3 times now. Service and breakfast/dinner was first class.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location, near restaurants, bakeries, museums in walking distance. South Kensington tube station very convenient.

Poor service, poorly maintained hardware, rude staff
This is my sixth night in the Knightsbridge Suite, and the experience has been unacceptable. The heating does not work properly, the room hardware is poorly maintained, and basic housekeeping including replenishment of toiletries and towels was neglected. When I raised these issues, the front desk staff were rude and dismissive. The duty manager stated he would address the situation and did not follow through. This reflects a serious failure in service standards. At this price point, this level of neglect is indefensible. It is not worth the time or money, and there are far better alternatives in London.

Lovely South Kensington retreat
This is a lovely small boutique hotel which provides excellent service, has a wonderful breakfast that is usually included in the package, attentive front desk staff, lovely rooms with nice bathrooms and he did floors, quiet rooms, and attentive staff. Will be coming back.
