One Aldwych

Was invited to the Charlie and Chocolate Factory High Tea. The experience was underwhelming by London standards and the food, considering the price, was underwhelming given how far we have come with regards to molecular gastronomy. I was expecting a Heston experience. What is more infuriating is that I can get off their data base no matter how many times I unsubscribe, complain etc. I know longer live in the UK and this there is even less reason to send me their rubbish. Don’t ever supply your private email. Use either burn account or work account.

We have previously stayed at other London hotels and always feel let down by some aspect of our stay. I can say that I now don’t need to find any other hotel in London because of the exceptional stay I just had at One Aldwych. It was a special event and we had read about the wonderful reviews of this hotel so decided to book here. From the moment of arrival to the moment of departure there was not one aspect that did not meet our expectations or needs. The entire hotel is immaculately clean. Every single member of staff you meet, no matter their role, makes you feel special and could not do any more to go above and beyond expectations for exceptional customer service. The room is perfectly appointed with the highest quality of design and appliances. Minor feedback would be that there could be slightly more storage space (Ex: suitcases), lack of movies or rental movies on the telly, unsure about arrangements for recycling waste. The breakfast was of the highest quality ingredients. You could see and taste the difference from other hotel breakfasts with the beautiful free range eggs, pumpernickel bread, homemade hollandaise sauce. The lobby bar is absolutely stunning and we enjoyed pre theatre drinks there served by the incredibly friendly bar staff. I can’t say enough compliments about this hotel and would recommend it to anyone. And the next time we return to London there will be no question of where we will stay. There is now only one choice for quality service and that is One Aldwych. Thank you so much.

We stayed here over the weekend and this is by far the best hotel we have EVER stayed in London. This hotel is worth more than the five available stars. The hotel is spotless- the lobby and bar area are very beautifully kept. We had a drink in the bar on our first night. Lovely ambience and the perfect spot for a pre theatre drink. Our room was a beautiful luxe room which had plenty of space. It was very beautifully designed and extremely quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff here are one of a kind. From the moment we arrived till the moment we departed, we were treated so well by all staff- from the concierge, domestic, reception and restaurant staff. They were extremely happy to accommodate requests and were so considerate and polite. Thank you so much for making my partner’s birthday trip very special ! We have stayed in numerous hotels around central London. This is a gold-standard experience. If anyone asks for hotel recommendations, this will be top of the list. We are planning to book again when we are in London next April! Thank you so much! You are doing a wonderful job!

I recently stayed at One Aldwych and it truly feels like a mix of modern luxury and classic London charm the location is excellent right in Covent Garden so everything is within walking distance the rooms are stylish comfortable and very clean the staff are friendly attentive and make you feel welcomed from the moment you step in
