One Aldwych

A wonderful hotel with a great fun atmosphere. The rooms are very quiet despite the noisy location, with lots of great little touches, such as a complimentary minibar. Great staff, lovely swimming pool and an excellent dairy/gluten free restaurant. You'd never know if you weren't told.

This is one of my favorite hotels that I have ever stayed at. I will absolutely be back. The location was amazing, very walkable especially to Covent Garden. The service was out of this world and the included amenities made me feel like royalty. The included breakfast was delicious. Seriously I don't have anything bad to say about this place. 10/10 I'm going to recommend this hotel to everyone. Let this be your sign that the hotel is worth it!

Amazing boutique 5 star hotel in the perfect location close to theatres and shopping! Perfect for all esp solo travelers to feel safe walking around on their own. The suites were outstanding with so many special details, a great sitting area and incredibly comfortable with amazing service. All staff were very kind and knowledgeable and loved to help the guests Fantastic pool experience and steam room was perfect after a day of shopping ! Most theatres were 100 metres away so easy to get to and I found the Big Bus stop was right outside the doors so super convenient for getting around for tourists. Amazing breakfast in a beautiful mezzanine restaurant. Great bar area and a lounge to relax waiting after checkout for those evening flights back to Australia once you have finished for the day.

Excellent stay at One Aldwych with my wife for 4 nights. From check in to check out the service and staff were amazing. We were particularly surprised at how quiet the rooms were considering the location - very well sound proofed! Would definitely come back .

I spent a lot of time looking at reviews of central London five star hotels, and the scores for One Aldwych were so high, I ended up booking this property. I’m glad I did. The hotel has pretty much nailed how to do 5 star. It really was excellent. Great rooms, tasteful and cool, comfortable, well designed, for central London also relatively quiet. The bathroom was a bit cramped and the plumbing was noisy but otherwise, everything was really really good. Staff were superb. Very professional, friendly without being obsequious, respectful and really aware of what was going on. This was on par with the sort of service you get at the MO or Peninsula in Hong Kong or Tokyo. Really impressive. We didn’t have much by way of F&B so I can’t comment on that. But to echo so many previous reviewers, this is really worth considering if you are staying in central London.
