The hotel is located in Nine Elms adjacent to the River Thames. It's an area going through much needed regeneration. It's very conveniently located for Vauxhall train & tube station (about a 7mins walk) and the shopping/restaurants at Battersea Power Station (about a 15mins walk). Our check-in experience was excellent (not least because of the complimentary homemade mince pies of offer!). As we had Globalist status, we were upgraded to a suite with river view but had to wait until 15:15 for the room to be ready (check-in time is 15:00). To compensate, we were offered free drinks in the stylish Nine Elms Bar which was a nice touch. Our suite was wonderfully styled and suitably opulent and had a glorious view of the Thames from the floor-to-ceiling windows. There was also a large bathroom with sumptuous bath and a separate shower. All mod cons were on hand including mood lighting, automatic blackout blinds, bluetooth speaker and a Toto Japanese-style toilet. We received a welcome gift, presumably due to our status, of wine and chocolates. In terms of amenities, there's a very wide and welcoming heated pool (which was empty when we used it) and good size saunas in the changing rooms. But there was no jacuzzi or steam room. The changing rooms themselves included dressing gowns, flip-flops, towels, wet bags, etc...the only thing missing was a swimsuit dryer to help dry wet clothes. The gym was a good size with a separate stretch room and included a couple of Peloton bikes. Unfortunately, the gym did not overlook the river. Breakfast included a large buffet plus cooked-to-order items from a small menu featuring both Western and Asian dishes (e.g. dim sum). Service throughout was super helpful and competent. Overall, this is a great option for a stay in London, particularly if you have Globalist status.

If you enjoy burning money to be treated like a nuisance, this is the Park Hyatt for you. Easily the worst experience I’ve had with the brand globally. The Highlights: Logic has left the building: At check-in, they tried to convince me to downgrade from my Suite to a Standard room to "see the fireworks." I’m not even staying for New Year’s Eve. Who tries to upsell you a downgrade? The Invisible Guest Diet: We sat at breakfast for 40 minutes and asked to order twice. The staff looked right through us. We eventually gave up and ate cold bread because apparently, table service is an optional extra here. The "Stand in the Corner" Service: When I went to pick up a laundry delivery, the receptionist decided to play psychic and assumed my key card didn't work. When I corrected her, she refused to check for the package until I shoved the delivery confirmation in her face. Her solution? "Go stand there and wait for the Concierge." (Spoiler: The Concierge was invisible, too). I paid thousands of dollars for the privilege of eating cold bread and being told to stand in a corner. Save your money.

Great service and friendly staff. New hotel. I like the location over looking the Thames. But it was a bit hard to get to using public transportation.

Staff were so pleasant and helpful and just went the extra mile, consistently. My family felt very special. Thank you, I was concerned whether the hotel would really be able to live up to the Park Hyatt brand but had probably been my favourite hotel to stay around the globe. And the experience for my family was just wonderful. Thank you Park Hyatt team. From The Spa, to the food and beverage team to excellent housekeeping team. Nothing was too much trouble and they clearly wanted to ensure you were looked after. A really great experience.

Excellent service, great property, nice view of River Thames from room, definitely returning to see Kameliya, Crystal, Sami and Rhenia.
