I’ve had the privilege of staying at several Peninsula properties — from Beverly Hills to Paris — but nothing compares to our recent weekend at The Peninsula London. This was not just a five-star hotel stay. It was a masterclass in emotionally intelligent hospitality. From the very first email, Ayaka Mita crafted our stay with care, precision, and genuine warmth. She built an experience around us — one that seamlessly balanced our needs, preferences, and even the well-being of our beloved dog, Ivy, who was welcomed with more grace than most humans receive elsewhere. Our Junior Suite was beautifully prepared — serene, spacious, and calming in design. The spa treatment we experienced with Mariko and Isabella was among the most restorative I’ve had. Thoughtful touches made every moment feel personal, never transactional. Dinner at Brooklands was an evening we’ll remember forever. Regina and Behzad guided us through the night with warmth and elegance. Joel offered a perfect cocktail recommendation, and Mario surprised us with a mango dessert that felt like it had been created just for us — a gesture so genuine it caught us off guard in the best way. The incredible care extended to every part of the hotel: - Rita at the salon gave me an exceptional service experience. - Margaux from Guest Relations quietly ensured Ivy had treats, mats, and space to feel at ease. - Deepthi and Enrico made our Sunday feel like an extension of the magic from the night before. Even when we encountered a small hiccup — a cold Sunday Roast — it was handled gracefully and without hesitation. That’s what defines true luxury: not the absence of flaws, but the intelligence and care with which they’re resolved. We left feeling not just relaxed, but remembered. Seen. Cared for. And that’s something only the best hotels in the world can offer. We’re already planning to return — and we’ll carry the memory of this stay with us until we do.

There is simply no competition for a true luxury stay in London. Having stayed at nearly every other 5 star hotel in the city over the years, the Pen sets the standard for a discrete, luxury adventure. The professionals that work there are simply the best. Accommodations refined and simply beautiful. If you want the best or nothing, the Pen is the only choice in London.

Beautifully designed new hotel. The rooms are spacious, state-of-the-art tech and well done. Service is excellent (Martin and Gay in particular), the house car a wonderful amenity and Brooklands roof bar a nice way to wrap up with an evening cocktail. Solid city hotel gym and indoor pool, well located - an excellent stay!

Gorgeous facility and luxurious in every way. Staff continually greeting and watching after their guests. Our room was large and kept immaculately clean. The pool and spa were spectacular along with their services. Food service and restaurants were all top rate! Easy to get taxis to go everywhere in London. In particular the top doorman ANGEL made our experience even better. He looked after all of our comings and goings with great care!

A stunningly beautiful property in the heart of one of London’s best areas. If you can afford the splurge, you will not be disappointed. From check-in to check-out, we were highly impressed by the staff, the amenities and the location’s value proposition. Rooms are technologically advanced and well-appointed, and food offerings were top tier. Absolutely loved the house cars (and the staff operating them were incredibly knowledgeable). Make sure to check out the Brooklands Bar and enjoy a fantastic cocktail while taking in views of the skyline. Overall, highly recommend and I cannot wait to come back!
