Raffles London is located in what was the Old War Office building, known today as The OWO. It was once home to legends such as Sir Winston Churchill. Ian Fleming, creator of James Bond, was a regular visitor to the building. Located in the heart of Whitehall, the building has been meticulously restored and is now home to Raffles London at The OWO. At Raffles London at The OWO, you step into rooms where the history of the 20th century was made, exquisitely modernized for 21st-century tastes. Today our 120 spacious rooms and suites offer an experience of refined contemporary elegance and beauty, uniquely enhanced by their historical features and the remarkable essence of place.

Afternoon tea at The Old War Office - Raffles was an amazing experience. Everything was exceptional. The tea was themed around female spies. Very cleverly done. The food was wonderful and the cakes were exquisite. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Definitely a unique experience.

The OWO oozes history and charm from its beautiful oak panel. Fabulous location, excellent food, top notch facilities etc. But the real reason this 5* hotel is one we will return to time and time again is the OWO team. Probably the best team we have experienced. Thank you for a lovely stay.

My husband, and a friend, were celebrating their 75th birthdays. Both had had naff covid lockdown 70ths, so I really wanted their 75ths to be extra special. Raffles at the Owo made it arguably the most memorable ever for both of them! We had the most amazing fun, enjoyable and luxurious stay! We were both upgraded. Our suite was just superb. To walk in and find the balloons plus a cake, was a super surprise - my husband was so chuffed he insisted we brought the 75 ones home! The staff were all exemplary again, so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast choice has changed since our last stay, and a new manager appointed. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate. We dined in 'Paper Moon' for the first time. The food was first class, we will definitely return! Afternoon tea was excellent. Loved the fact the pastries were linked to female spies in WWII, who we owe so much to for their incredible bravery and who visited the OWO. The hidden camera fob watch defied belief! we couldn't eat it the first day, just marvelled at the way it had been created. The salted caramel encased in chocolate was sublime when we did try it! I can not thank, or praise, the staff at the OWO enough for making us feel so welcome, so special and for making two people marking a milestone birthday so incredibly happy!

We were interested in seeing the hotel and were given a grand and accommodating tour by Aiden, truly the most wonderful representative of the hotel. We will definitely return for a drink..

Our stay at Raffles was the best stay we could have asked for in London. The location is superb, you are in the heart of everything, Big Ben, Parliament, the National Gallery, Theater District, and Buckingham Palace are truly less than a 5-10 minute walk. The staff was the best we ever had, everyone knew our name and were more than accommodating to our every need. The rooms were immaculate and they even upgraded us as we are on our honeymoon. If you stay here take advantage of their beautiful afternoon tea experience and their Spy Bar which was the coolest speakeasy we’ve ever seen. The team is amazing! From dean and Shay at concierge to Charlotte at reception, everyone is there to help you have a great experience. We stayed in an Executive room, which was huge and came with everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The staff brought us a cake to celebrate our honeymoon and even balloons which was such a lovely added touch. Finally, be sure to take the OWO history tour around the hotel, it’s so informative and interesting to learn the history of this very important British landmark. Loved our stay and we will be back very soon!
