The Rubens at the Palace

There are not enough positive adjectives to describe the staff and hotel of The Rubens at the Palace. From the first moment approaching the steps of the hotel through the entire 6 night stay the experience was excellent. The staff is always present and easily approachable. They went out of their way to help and make sure we had the best vacation possible. The Hotel masterfully blends Victorian design and charm with modern conveniences and comforts. The rooms are large and well adorned. The public areas are charming and inviting. Breakfast is delicious and open at convenient hours. We dined at several of the restaurants on-site and were blown away with the service and food. The room rate is inline with other 5-star hotels, but in the end we feel it was actually a huge value! The experience of staying at the Rubens turned our time in the hotel into a highlight of our vacation. We cannot imagine staying anywhere else in London. Thank you to the whole team at the Rubens.

The Rubens at the Palace is a wonderful, wonderful hotel that we enjoyed thoroughly for our 30th Wedding Anniversary last week!!! Beautiful, clean, great location, incredible staff including John the Doorman, Jonah, Joe, Hana, Sophie, Ellie and all the others made our stay INCREDIBLE!!! They delivered complimentary biscuits and a DELICIOUS chocolate mousse cake PLUS took very special anniversary photos in the lobby! I cannot say enough great things about the staff at The Rubens and thank them for being so very nice and kind to us!!!!! Take care all and God bless!!!!

The Rubens is a wonderful, historic hotel just blocks from Buckingham Palace, from the Tube, from restaurants, and so much more. The staff is diverse and attentive to every need. Our room was quiet and quaint and the morning breakfast was a lovely way to start the day. Jan, the doorman, always greeted us with a smile!

Reuben’s was an absolutely splendid stay. From the moment we checked in, we felt warmly welcomed by all the staff. They were not only kind but also genuinely personable, which made all the difference. Our room, while small, was charming and beautifully decorated. We experienced a minor issue with the air conditioning, but it was resolved within five minutes by a respectful and efficient staff member. We stayed for four days and loved how conveniently located the hotel was—just across from Buckingham Palace and within easy walking distance to many iconic monuments and parks. Breakfast was a delight, with freshly prepared meals rather than a standard buffet, and afternoon tea was spectacular. The variety of pastries, sandwiches, and the curated tea menu made it a truly memorable experience. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for spoiling us on our honeymoon!

Our stay there was memorable. Andy the doorman was the first to greet us on arrival and he was phenomenal. Andy was a wealth of information with the local area, places to see, places to avoid. Always smiling and overall a top bloke. The staff were always polite, helpful and accommodating. Nothing seemed to be a problem and always ready to assist. Even getting an early coffee at 5am was no drama. The room was lovely. No complaints about the service given.
