About the Hotel
The Rubens at the Palace is the closest you'll get to a sleepover with the Queen without a state visit invitation. The hotel is directly across from the royal residence on property that enjoys a colorful past – the Duke of Buckingham lived here in the 1600s, followed by an apothecary and a Court dressmaker. The Rubens, which was built in 1912, housed the Polish army during WWII and gave respite to exiled Charles de Gaulle. The hotel's decadent – and often equally colorful – rooms and suites are a comfortable home base in the epicenter of London.

A fantastic stay at the Rubens!
We stayed at The Rubens while in London for the Oasis gig and enjoyed every second of it. The hotel itself is beautiful with a traditional style but what stood it apart is the staff and the service there. The bedroom was lovely with an extremely comfy bed and spacious bathroom. We enjoyed a cocktail in the New York bar and breakfast in the morning in the English grill both were excellent. Thank you to all the team bit special mention to Leo, Raj and chef Adam for making the stay extra special

The Rubens was outstanding in every way. The rooms were immaculate, the staff was well informed and friendly and courteous, and the food and service was outstanding. We will only stay there in London in the future!

Attention to detail and commitment to caring and excellence. From the doorman, to the front desk, to the concierge and servers in the restaurants. We could not ask for more. Best in the World
Where do I start? The friendly faces that welcome you as you head in? The kindest people in the world? The white glove service at the Grill? I'll start at the gorgeous entry way, trimmed with a gold and classic trimmed woodwork, the people behind the desk are the kindest in the world. Full of wonderful and helpful suggestions to make your stay even more special. I will not be staying anywhere else in London other than Rubens at the Palace. They make you feel welcomed and at home.

Great boutique hotel in London
The Ruebens at the Palace was one of our favorite hotels during a recent trip to Europe. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the cheerful doorman and the rest of the staff in the lobby. Our attractive room was nice and the location was convenient to Victoria Station, Buckingham Palace and local shops. Breakfast every morning was good and plentiful and the wait staff was accomodating. We recommend dinner in the restaurant too. We enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Ruebens and hope to book it again in the future.

I just returned from an amazing 6 nights at The Rubens. My trip was for business and at the last minute, I had to bring my baby along. This worried me greatly, but thanks to the wonderful staff of the hotel, my week went off without a hitch. The staff couldn't have been any kinder, more helpful, or professional. From the moment we arrived, special attention was paid to the baby and any assistance I needed. There is no doubt that I will be returning to this hotel. It has won a special place in my heart.

I can't say enough about the amazing service at the hotel. Everyone was so friendly and helpful whenever we had questions or needed help. The concierge was wonderful and went out of his way to come check on us and see how our day our was turning out. It made us feel very welcome and almost like family! The room was very comfortable, the food in the bar was great, service was amazing. We'll stay here again!
