About the Hotel
The Rubens at the Palace is the closest you'll get to a sleepover with the Queen without a state visit invitation. The hotel is directly across from the royal residence on property that enjoys a colorful past – the Duke of Buckingham lived here in the 1600s, followed by an apothecary and a Court dressmaker. The Rubens, which was built in 1912, housed the Polish army during WWII and gave respite to exiled Charles de Gaulle. The hotel's decadent – and often equally colorful – rooms and suites are a comfortable home base in the epicenter of London.

Pleasantly surprised at this little gem. Concierge and check in desk staff were lovely and super helpful. Very comfortable bed. Special thanks to Eve on breakfast service as I was in such a rush and she arranged porridge and tea in record time - huge thanks!

Best Hotel so far on our 3-country stay
During our 3-country vacation, we stayed at Reuben in London, and it was excellent. From the door man (Sharply dressed) to the front desk, folks were very friendly with warm welcoming, even going to the extreme, remembering our anniversary with chocolate. The room was grand and worth coming back again. We had dinner and breakfast during our stay, and our experience was very pleasant with food selections and the atmosphere. Since this was our first trip, even the door person was very eager to assist us with directions and great suggestions, even getting us a cab. What a wonderful world at, The Rueben's at the Palace
My husband and I spent 5 nights at the Rubens at the Palace. Words don't do justice for how the team at The Rubens made us feel. The entire staff made us feel so welcome, just like family. They are at the top of their game in hospitality. The doormen always ready to hail a cab, open a door or help in anyway. The front desk and the concierge ready to answer any questions and make your stay special. The dining was excellent. Don't miss the breakfast, kudos to the chef! And, thank you to Leo for our special table. You can't beat the location. The hotel is close to many of the tourist sites. A special thanks to the people who made our stay extra special, Leo, Guila, Ellie, Jan, Milan and the team at the concierge desk.

A wonderful stay made exceptional that’s to a brilliant staff.
Beautiful hotel in an excellent location, but the reason we'd stay here again? Easy answer - the staff. They were exceptional. Every single staff member we met. We were treated so kindly, like VIPs. We had our puppy with us, and he really was a VIP to the team. From our welcomes, to Chef organising a last-minute nut-free afternoon tea, to dinner in the bar, and the marvellous martinis, we had an exceptional stay. Thank you so much to every individual we met - you made it very special indeed.

I just returned from an amazing 6 nights at The Rubens. My trip was for business and at the last minute, I had to bring my baby along. This worried me greatly, but thanks to the wonderful staff of the hotel, my week went off without a hitch. The staff couldn't have been any kinder, more helpful, or professional. From the moment we arrived, special attention was paid to the baby and any assistance I needed. There is no doubt that I will be returning to this hotel. It has won a special place in my heart.

I can't say enough about the amazing service at the hotel. Everyone was so friendly and helpful whenever we had questions or needed help. The concierge was wonderful and went out of his way to come check on us and see how our day our was turning out. It made us feel very welcome and almost like family! The room was very comfortable, the food in the bar was great, service was amazing. We'll stay here again!
