About the Hotel
The Rubens at the Palace is the closest you'll get to a sleepover with the Queen without a state visit invitation. The hotel is directly across from the royal residence on property that enjoys a colorful past – the Duke of Buckingham lived here in the 1600s, followed by an apothecary and a Court dressmaker. The Rubens, which was built in 1912, housed the Polish army during WWII and gave respite to exiled Charles de Gaulle. The hotel's decadent – and often equally colorful – rooms and suites are a comfortable home base in the epicenter of London.

Ruben at the Palace stay
We stayed at the Reubens for 4 days in October, we couldn’t have had a better experience while visiting London, the hotel was convenient to everything, the staff was excellent at every turn. We did have a problem with our room but they moved us to a better room the next morning. Great experience 🇬🇧🇺🇸

Magnificent in every way
This magnificent hotel offered everything you would want for a wonderful stay. To start, the location of this hotel is great. We were able to walk to most of the Royal sites. The surrounding areas included great restaurants and shopping. A delicious breakfast was included and Served every morning. No buffets The staff is extremely helpful with any of your needs. We have already booked our return visit.

Fantastic Hotel
Another fantastic stay at The Rubens At The Palace, and we have stayed many times. All the staff are warm, welcoming, professional and just lovely. This is the best hotel to stay in while visiting London. Beautiful decor, straight out of the palace itself, especially room 205, the best room in the hotel. The beds are so comfy with luxurious bed linen, you don’t want to leave the room. The marble style bathroom is just gorgeous, pure grandeur. The bar is so impressive while also being warm and cosy. This is a magical place to stay, especially over Christmas time. Just perfect.

Great stay and great hotel
Great stay for the weekend, this was a early birthday getaway. We had a mews facing double and it was a great room, great marble bathroom and facilities, tv had sky tv and everything you could need, room service ( at a cost) but nothing too drastic. Breakfast was great and so tasty, full English and eggs Benedict both amazing, the staff are great and attentive. The New York bar again had great service and the evening singer was amazing, we saw her Friday and Saturday night and added a great feeling to the night, the cocktails are good and bar menu for food was also good, we had the burger and steak fillet sandwich. The door staff and reception staff are great and we were given a free drink as our room wasn’t quite ready, little touch that was nice, the door man is on the ball if you need a taxi and gets it sorted for you straight away and was lovely and friendly and chatty, just how you’d want him to be. Management all seemed to be focused and making sure all things big and small are adhered to. It’s an expensive stay but you get what you pay for and I’d definitely recommend using this hotel

I just returned from an amazing 6 nights at The Rubens. My trip was for business and at the last minute, I had to bring my baby along. This worried me greatly, but thanks to the wonderful staff of the hotel, my week went off without a hitch. The staff couldn't have been any kinder, more helpful, or professional. From the moment we arrived, special attention was paid to the baby and any assistance I needed. There is no doubt that I will be returning to this hotel. It has won a special place in my heart.

Our package at the Rubens at the Palace let my mother and me live like a queen. From the flowers in the room, the beautiful suite, the daily high tea, the staff - everything was a deluxe vacation opportunity. My previous vacations to London pale in comparison to this experience.

I can't say enough about the amazing service at the hotel. Everyone was so friendly and helpful whenever we had questions or needed help. The concierge was wonderful and went out of his way to come check on us and see how our day our was turning out. It made us feel very welcome and almost like family! The room was very comfortable, the food in the bar was great, service was amazing. We'll stay here again!
