Reviews for The Savoy
Perfection - Again!
This hotel gets everything right and more. London is home to a number of exceptional fine hotels — but to me the Savoy stands out. You feel the Savoy’s history all around you, in the best way. Like when it’s time to go to your room, you take either the blue, green, or red elevator, which are also known as “ascending rooms” — these were the first electric lifts in London and they are fabulous. The Savoy’s American Bar remains one of my most favorite places, where you can imagine the Queen Mum and her gin, or Winston Churchill and his cabinet. Too often historic hotels can be beautiful but also feel dusty/dated/threadbare — not here. The lobby is beautiful and impeccably maintained - everything is shiny. Our room was wonderful - so up-to-date with a great layout. Location couldn’t be better, steps from the Waterloo Bridge along the Thames. And no review of the Savoy would be complete without acknowledging their ever-amazing service. This was our third visit and more than all of the above what stays with us is the level of concern for us and effort to make sure that all was as we hoped. Special shoutout to conceirges George and Amine (who took amazing care to make sure one of our party’s dietary needs was attended to). Hoping to return again sooner rather than later!

Birthday Stay made so special
Had the most amazing stay. Attention to detail was absolutely amazing everyone one there was incredibly helpful. Especially Cesar on the front desk and the breakfast girls.

Perfect in every way
I am late to write this review (sorry Savoy) as we stayed for my adult daughter's birthday in July 2024. We requested flowers and a cake on the day of her birthday which were absolutely stunning and the communication was first class. We stayed in a suite and everything was perfect, there was so much space and it was so beautiful. They even put the cake back in the fridge when we were out for the day and left us a cute note. We have stayed with the Savoy a few times before and they really are the hotel all other hotel's envy! Every member of staff is helpful and friendly.. The Savoy really made my daughter's birthday so memorable. It's such a shame we won't be able to stay again this year as she is turning 30 and special birthdays should be at the Savoy.

Perfect in every way. Quiet rooms, very attentive staff, excellent food. All the staff are extremely professional. Every area was scrupulously clean. The Savoy is in a perfect area for exploring London . I would certainly recommend and look forward to returning .
