Located on the River Thames near Covent Garden, in the heart of the city's exciting theatre district, you will find The Savoy. With its central London location this hotel offers an amazing blend of restored Art Deco and Edwardian style. Featuring either English Edwardian or Art Deco designs, each room is as comfortable as it is elegant. Silk wall coverings, marble floors, and plush Italian linens are perfectly-lit by glass chandeliers from Murano, while large picture windows offer sweeping city and river views. Refresh yourself with an invigorating rain shower, or recline in your comfortable living space, soaking in the tranquil atmosphere of the hotel. At The Savoy you will enjoy the storied history and dynamic scenes of the city, with all the comforts and features of modern city living.

Housekeeping stole my husband's wallet so yes, a 0 star stay! It's really disappointing because we had the best stay at Fairmont Makati, a sister hotel. I'm disappointed in security as well because they keep saying it's likely a mistake and got tossed in the linens and they're searching the linens. It's not a mistake. It was on a table. You can't gaslight us; it was either housekeeping or a ghost. This hotel costs literally, thousands of dollars. We shouldn't be fearing safety and security. We now have to go through the trouble of filing a police report in a foreign county. This is also happening midpoint in our trip so hub has to travel from London to Paris with no cc's and cash. I hate this place.

Stayed for one night as we watched Paddington Bear at the Savoy Theatre; wished we could have stayed longer. Staff were very welcoming, and had complimentary champagne in the Reading Room. The hotel room was beautiful, well equipped with a very comfortable bed and quiet air conditioning. The complimentary soft drinks mini bar was great, as were the mince pies in our room with a personal welcome letter. We had more drinks in the American Bar, and an excellent breakfast in the Gallery. Highly recommended, will definitely revisit.

What an amazing hotel and thoroughly enjoyable experience we had celebrating my “big birthday’. We were able to check into our river view suite early and were shown around by our personal butler Josh who explained everything to us and gave us a brief history of the hotel. After settling in Josh presented us with a welcoming glass of champagne which we enjoyed as we watched the boats on The Thames. We later enjoyed a beautiful lunch in The Gallery complimented by the best profiteroles we have ever tasted. In the evening we dined in The Savoy Grill with guests which again was amazing. After dinner we had cocktails in The American Bar. Breakfast the next morning after an excellent nights sleep was perfect. After a morning shopping we returned to have coffee in The Reading Room. The whole stay was an amazing experience and one which we hope to repeat next year for my husbands birthday. Cleanliness, service, hospitality was superb. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so special.

How I loved my 4 night stay here. I was transported to another world The service was second to none. The Staff are so friendly and helpful. I would like to give the following staff a mention Cheng - this delightful gentleman's domain was in The Reading Room where he was so helpful. We chatted about the History of The Savoy and the coffee was lovely Florentina - Housekeeping. We were talking about holidays. She recommended a few places in her native Romania Leonardo - The Gallery who looked after me for Afternoon Tea Cesar - Receptionist so very polite All in all it was wonderful and Room Service was excellent

A pre-Christmas break in London, we always stay at the Savoy. A very warm welcome form Ayesha on reception. We had been upgraded to suite. Which was a welcome surprise. After a further chat with Ayesha she said for an additional fee we could have a further upgrade to a River View Suite. So, as it's Christmas we said yes. It was a beautiful suite with as described, a stunning view across the Thames towards the London Eye, Houses of Parliament. A very spacious suite, with every amenity. The suite has recently been upgraded, decorated in muted colours with a nice lounge, separate bedroom and large bathroom. We decided, after a walk around London to order a pot of tea in our Suite. I have to say we were rather disappointed, as that was all you got. A pot of tea, milk, sugar, some additional hot water, but not a biscuit in sight. They were extra. Really, a couple of biscuits surely would be automatic when ordering a pot of tea! We love the American Bar and are never disappointed with the service. George, wearing a Trainee badge, looked after us. Very warm, extreemly friendly, professional with a good sense of humour. Dinner that night was in 1890 by Gordon Ramsey. A small, intimate restaurant within the hotel. Nicely spaced tables, a great menu, wine list, as well as great service from Nicoletta, the restaurant manager, and the whole team. After dinner we went to get in the 'Blue lift' to go back to our room to find it not working. So we decided to walk the 6 floor to the 8th floor. When we got to our floor there, outside the lift was a sign with directions to al alternative lift. We did feel that the sign should be on the ground floor as well, so called the front desk just to point this out. Breakfast in The Gallery was a mixed affair. Service was friendly however, the food delivery was slow. We waited over 30 minutes for our breakfast! The waiter must have recognised we had been waiting some time as he came over to apologise for the delay. More drinks in the American Bar the following evening with friends, followed by dinner in The Savoy Grill. Always consistently good in both service and food. A pleasant stay. Do be warned, London hotels have started adding an additional 5% room service charge to the final bill. It is optional but on top of the service charge in bars and restaurants something to be aware of .
