Located on the River Thames near Covent Garden, in the heart of the city's exciting theatre district, you will find The Savoy. With its central London location this hotel offers an amazing blend of restored Art Deco and Edwardian style. Featuring either English Edwardian or Art Deco designs, each room is as comfortable as it is elegant. Silk wall coverings, marble floors, and plush Italian linens are perfectly-lit by glass chandeliers from Murano, while large picture windows offer sweeping city and river views. Refresh yourself with an invigorating rain shower, or recline in your comfortable living space, soaking in the tranquil atmosphere of the hotel. At The Savoy you will enjoy the storied history and dynamic scenes of the city, with all the comforts and features of modern city living.

Wow again.. there is a truly consistence of service throughout this beautiful hotel. It's a wonderful treat we saved up for and have stayed for 2 nights. Every step in this hotel takes you on an incredible journey, we have loved our stay. So this is our 2nd visit so I wanted to look for an outstanding staff member.. It was truly amazing' Clifford' in The river restaurant, who treated us like special people and that meant the world to us. We just want to enjoy our stay we work hard for everyday. Please recognise his above and beyond services he gives to the guests.. and especially us.

Third time staying at this amazing hotel. We always have a restful stay. Love the new Gallery Restaurant and Scoff store. Excellent service and delicious food, as usual. Can't wait to return.

My friend and I went to the American Bar, this is a tradition for our birthday’s, instead of gifts to each other we go for cocktails, our server Rachel, asked us about our visit and looked after us throughout the evening. The wonderful experience, with superb service, a fab ambiance, music and delicious cocktails, was made even more special,by giving us a hand written note wishing us a happy birthday and also surprising us with some cakes, with candles. Thank you so much Rachel, the gestures really made us feel special, we can’t wait to visit again .

From the moment you arrive to the minute you leave you feel like royalty. The refurbed rooms are superb we stayed in room 420 and it was everything we could have wished for and more. Rob and Michael on the front door are a real credit to the Savoy as is Hannah they are the reason we go back time and time again. 4 times this year! Best place to stay in London. Riverside restaurant highly recommend.

We stayed for several nights at The Savoy to celebrate a significant anniversary, having also celebrated birthdays, Christmas and had other stays over the years. The hotel were aware of our special day. However there was no congratulations at check in, with the only acknowledgement being a paltry box of chocolate in the room. We really would have preferred nothing. To compound matters we had a room with an poorly thought out bathroom, and curtains which had to be closed by clambering over furniture to access the heavy drapes. Luxury this was not. I complained at the desk and was offered an "upgrade" which when viewed was a downgrade. Adopting an assertive attitude the following day got us a much better room, but it shouldn't have been necessary. The hotel location is very good for Covent Garden, Piccadilly the river and Trafalgar Square. The atmosphere is one of refined luxury, and the staff are courteous and highly trained. The American Bar was as always a great place for pre and post dinner drinks, with efficient and friendly staff. When we returned after our celebratory meal they discovered the occasion and gave us some champagne which was thoughtful and a lovely gesture. The hotel has added a place to eat, which is less formal with a menu to match. This looked wonderful. We have never felt encouraged to eat at The Grill or River restaurant (apart from Christmas Day), finding the menus compact and uninspiring. We enjoyed our stay but the edge was taken off due to the persistence required in receiving an acceptable room. Do not stay in 412 if you are a large person - you won't fit between the basin and the shower door, or if you find it difficult dragging huge, heavy curtains after negotiating the furniture, or if you have short arms ( you won't reach the under the basin loo roll while situated on the toilet.)
