Our first ever, 1 night stay at the Savoy was unforgettable! As amazing as the amenities were, it was the genuine friendliness of the staff that was the highlight. From being welcomed by Eliah at reception, to Rob and his colleague at the door and Belinda the florist. Thank you! We hope to come again!

Fabulous hotel, fantastic staff who couldn’t do enough to please. Rooms superb, luxurious and comfortable. Shame about our experience in the Savoy grill!

What a wonderful afternoon we spent at the savoy for afternoon tea. Everything was delicious from the sandwiches to the tea to the cakes. Every member of staff was courteous, helpful and had a smile on their face. Thank you for a lovely time and we hope to be back again soon!

Just WOW…. Myself and two friends stayed recently for a special birthday celebration. From arriving at the hotel and the moment we left we felt like royalty ( we didn’t want to the bubble to burst) The staff really do go above and beyond to make your experience so special … they truly do! Apon check in we got upgraded… we could have burst into tears with excitement when we see our room or should I say suite. The room was newly furbished… fresh, bright and immaculate. If I could have bottled up the fragrance of the room I would have. Savoy acknowledge it was a special celebration and we had a hand written note along with chocolate. Our view was over looking the Thames with the London eye and Big Ben in sight. We actually slept with the curtains open all night as we don’t want to shut out the view. We spent some time in the pool… very warm and clean followed by a few cocktails in the American Bar. We woke, went for an early morning walk and then arrived back for breakfast… Door staff welcomed us back ‘good morning welcome back’ so special. Savoy we all really appreciated our stay… it was a very rare trip for us to go on we will not hesitate to book again. Thank you to everyone for making it a trip to remember for a lifetime.

We booked a night here for my wife’s 50th birthday along with tickets for Paddington at The Savoy theatre next door. We’ve been lucky enough to stay in some great 5* hotels but this was a different level. We arrived just before 3.00 and were impressed with check in which was welcoming, friendly and efficient. Our cases were taken at the door as we arrived by taxi and my wife loved her birthday being acknowledged with an upgraded room and we appreciated a short orientation of the communal areas of the hotel. The room wasn’t quite ready so we were shown through to the reading room and offered complimentary champagne & water before we quickly got a text advising our keys were now available. The room was stunning with all the touches you’d expect, Nespresso machine/complimentary soft drinks in fridge/robes & slippers etc. We used the leisure facilities (a beautiful warm pool) and enjoyed the room before walking across the road to the theatre. After the show, we’d booked a table for cocktails at The American Bar for 9.30 (we were told the performance would be completed by then) but it was nearer 10.00 when we arrived. Despite being busy, they had kept our table for us and we enjoyed a couple of fantastic cocktails listening to the live pianist. Not surprisingly, we slept well on the comfortable bed and the next morning checking out with the same person who checked us in the previous day was again friendly and efficient. Our overriding impression was the service that wasn’t stuffy like you might fear in a top end hotel but friendly and relaxed. Everyone we encountered acknowledged us with a smile & greeting and genuinely wanted us to have the best time. Obviously it’s not cheap (and for us probably a one off) but everyone should have the experience if they can, we’ll remember it forever.
