Shangri-La The Shard, London

We stayed at the Shang-ri La at The Shard in London on June 2-5, 2025. We were amazed at the view from our room and from the restaurants. The staff are hands down one of the best in the world. We were warmly welcomed when we arrived. We arrived early evening on June 2nd and we were tired and hungry. We had an amazing dinner at Ting restaurant. They seated us at a table by the window. The dinner was delicious and fantastic. The service was second to none. This is the only place we would stay in London. The overall experience was so fantastic that we are definitely coming back.

A soul-stirring view of London from our 46th floor corner room. I asked maintenance to remove the TV on the dresser in front of the giant window. Nothing could beat the view of London and the Thames. Service is world class. No Need to tip the housekeeping. It is added on to the bill at the end. Make sure to go to Gong Bar on the 52nd floor. The best cocktails ever.

Kenny who works the nightshifts, helped us have best experience in London. He told us all the good and safe spots to visit and enjoy close to the hotel. He even “planned” some nights for us, where he’d tell us what street we should go on to have fun and experience the London night life. Would not of been as good as a trip without him.

We had an excellent time at the ‘Dining in the sky’ at the Shangri-La in the Shard. Alfaad was an excellent host he couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive. Would highly recommend booking him for your next restaurant experience!!

I arrived at the ground floor and was greeted and welcomed. After that, my bags were scanned, and I was shown the 35th floor to check my reservation at the spa. After that, I was shown to the 52nd floor with the receptionist, who showed me the spa and passed me to the spa manager, who welcomed me and gave me a tour of the spa, which was fabulous, especially the view. After that, I noted that the robe was a tad small for someone my size, to which the spa manager was able to source a bigger one, which fit great. After that, I relaxed in the pool, had some fresh fruit and tea, then went to the sauna. By the time I was done, a receptionist came to show me to the treatment room to get a full-body massage, and wow, that was amazing. I can’t remember the masseuse’s name, but my muscles were butter in her hands. Absolutely amazing job overall. A great day trip. All staff were great, and facilities even better.
