More than just a great view
It’s all about the view! That is amazing. But there’s so much more. Great service, fantastic rooms and bathrooms and the pool and sauna really topped it off.

Anniversary weekend
Great hotel. We stayed in a Premier Shard King room. It’s a corner room with 270 views. Very spacious, en-suite with Shower and bath. Close to London Bridge within walking distance to Tube/trains. Gong bar 52 floor- pricey for cocktails and snacks. £22 cocktails, £35 for glass of champagne. We took breakfast included at Ting restaurant- buffet and few menu items. Staff very attentive.

Wonderful Experience at the Shangri-La The Shard. A beautiful stay to celebrate my mum’s 80th birthday. A perfect stay!
We stayed at the Shangri‑La The Shard with my mum for her 80th birthday, and it was amazing from start to finish. We even received a lovely pre‑welcome email before we arrived, which made everything feel really special. The staff were so friendly and made my mum feel truly celebrated. Our room had incredible views, and the whole hotel felt calm, clean, and luxurious. We also really enjoyed the pool, gym, and sauna — all spotless and a great way to relax during our stay. It was a wonderful experience and a birthday my mum will never forget. Thank you to the entire team for helping us create such wonderful memories. We can’t wait to return.

Wonderful Valentines night
We had an amazing stay at the Shard, all the staff were extremely helpful. Especially the reception team and the room cleaners as we had a lovely surprise while we were out for dinner the room was tidied and all my valentines stuff was laid out on the bed and in the room. The cleanliness of the rooms was top. Great amenities. Location and view was excellent. I can’t fault our stay and we will definitely be returning.

Just WOW
From start to finish....just perfect. Before we arrived I had emailed several questions to the hotel and got responses more or less straight away. Arrival and check-in was easy. With our room being available early at no extra charge. The room definitely had the wow factor room 4601, loved the room especially the blinds ! A must is the bar on level 52 Gong. The Spa looked fantastic although we did not use it this time ! Huge selection at breakfast. All the staff were 1st class.
