Beautifully restored and brimming with 5-star luxury, the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel London provides a truly unforgettable experience. Behind the fairytale façade, that Sir George Gilbert Scott fashioned for the Midland Grand, lies a hotel that will exceed your every expectation...blending Victorian splendor with modern style and service.

What a great hotel! It's a beautiful building in a great location. If you love historic old buildings, you'll be very happy. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We took the Eurostar to Paris, and the station is right there on the lower floor, along with shopping. You can step outside and walk to the Underground, or take in the many restaurants and pubs in the area without having to take a taxi or an Uber. London's many attractions are a short trip on the Underground, which is a great system. Trains generally run every 2 minutes (!), and there no tickets; you just use your phone to tap on the entrance to the turnstile, your credit card is charged, and your in! I highly recommend the St. Pancras Hotel!

We had a very pleasant stay for one night to celebrate a special occasion. The hotel was lovely, really interesting interior, the staff was polite and the room was very spacious and very quiet. We especially enjoyed the spa. Breakfast was good, although I would personally prefer a buffet style, since my family doesn't speak English so I had to translate the menu for them and explain the concept of one choice of cold plate and one choice of hot plate. Overall a very good experience, can definitely recommend! Thank you.

Having stayed at many Marriott branded hotels in London over the years (Grosvenor Square, County Hall, Park Lane, etc), I decided to give St Pancras a try since I was heading to Paris on the Eurostar. Check-in was easy and my Titanium status was acknowledged by informing me that my wife and I could have a free breakfast each morning in the Booking Room restaurant, which was fabulous. I've never stayed at a hotel that was over 150 years old and didn't know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. Once I got off the elevator of the Barlow wing, I found the corridor was completely modern and up to date, as was the room, which was a bit larger than London standards. My only complaint, which I seem to be doing a lot these days, is the lack of a dresser or at least shelves in which to place clothes, requiring my wife and I to live out of our suitcases. The bathroom was extremely functional and the walk-in shower, with a wand and rain water head, was fabulous. The property is historically significant and beckons to the era of railway building in England. At over 150 years old, it is more than just grand, it is a spectacle. The King's Cross neighborhood is great and has lots of restaurants. And for those history buffs, the Magna Carta lives across the street at the British Library. In addition to the Eurostar station, the building sits atop of subway and railway lines, making every part of London extremely accessible. The next time I am in London I will definitely consider St Pancras as my jumping off point.

Marriott has turned this hotel into a less enjoyable place to be. The service is barely adequate, during a 4 day stay the room was never cleaned before 4 pm. They obviously don’t have enough staff to take care of the rooms in a timely fashion. I am a Lifetime Platinum member and while I was told I had an upgrade, because we’ve stayed multiple times in the past, I could tell that it was one of the smaller rooms. Not upgraded at all. Ok no huge deal, sometimes you don’t get the upgrade but don’t lie about it!! Is that supposed to make me feel better? Last but not least, another lie about the Chambers Club. It’s being renovated. Since May? No, it’s just evidently been eliminated. So no lounge access of any kind. One of the perks of this hotel was to be able to go into the club and just relax for a few minutes, have a tea or coffee and chat. My husband and I are here on holiday but if I were a business person I think this would be very disturbing, where can you have a quiet place for a business conversation? And no breakfast buffet either? After staying here multiple times since it has been open I will not be staying again. And my loyalty to Marriott has been shattered as well.

This place is an old archaic poorly maintained hotel with a shambolic layout and horrible service. The entrance off the train station is unmarked as a hotel and turns out to be under a sign saying Booking office and it's labelled as a restaurant and bar. Good luck finding your way in, best you don't and go somewhere else. Laundry is expensive and was misplaced, calls to find it were ignored, then I was told its on its way up then I was told it was lost, then it was eventually returned dirty and unwashed no one cares and lying comes very naturally. Not a single English tea bag (only herbal) in what was supposed to be a Premier King bedroom, that was frankly very poor, not to mention the constant noise from the station buskers and other musicians through the night. They have closed their lounge as noted by other reviewers and it not fit to be a business hotel. I would never stay here again and it should not be a Marriott property, it's a complete disgrace. As a frequent Marriott customer (Titanium Bonvoy) I am copying this to Marriott. It's a disgrace in all respects.
