St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel London

Great check in from Jaspreet - really great knowledge and engagement. Room was great for one night and the bars were both super lively. Loved hearing all of the stories based on time, really charming. Perfect spot for King’s Cross and easy access to into town. Will be back!

We came down to London for a Christmas Treat, seeing friends after a year apart. One of us wanted to have seeing the St Pancreas Hotel. We had booked the Booking Office but, after reading reviews about how unfriendly they are towards dogs, and a conversation with a very rude person on the phone about our booking. We decided to cancel the booking and eat somewhere else. However, one of our party was desperate to still visit and we manage to get seats in the lounge, which is in the entrance area. This was meant to end a great day out in London. However, the experience was ruined by the staff and service received which did not match the hype of this place. Even though the atmosphere and building is amazing, the service was rubbish. We were met with staff who were miserable, we had to keep asking for things, as they kept avoiding us. We had asked for water which we had to keep asking for. We had wine and no one poured it, or came back to top classes up. One of our party asked for a double Baileys. Which when came was obviously a single. When questioning the staff member did not know and said it definitely was a single. Felt cheated by this. We paid the service charge even though there really wasn’t good service. The lady when we came in to sit down was snooty and unwelcoming. Even though the space is amazing, I wouldn’t rush to come back.

We stayed at this hotel for our anniversary (for which they made the beautiful gesture in the picture), and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The spa and gym are absolutely perfect for a relaxing hotel getaway. I especially loved the fully equipped Technogym fitness area — it had everything I needed. The spa offers a lovely pool, a soothing steam bath, and a wonderfully hot sauna located in the changing rooms. The atmosphere throughout is calm and refreshing, and the showers are spotless and excellent everywhere. All in all, it was the perfect way to start a day in London. Highly recommended!

You can access this hotel directly from St Pancras. Although service was generally good, there were quite long queues for check-in and check-out and I received a welcome amenity in the room addressed to someone else. The hotel has a spa and pool with decent opening hours and when I went at 7pm on a Friday evening I was the only person there.

Beautiful hotel if you don’t mind sharing with all the mice. Room not ready on arrival despite being an hour after stated check in time. Took another hour to sort. Booked a suite as it was a special occasion. Didn’t sleep at all - nice in the corridors and bars so no doubt in the rooms too.
