spice up your life!
Well Spice up your life with the greatest cocktails in town. Lovely atmosphere, the décor is also super cool and there is a nice outdoor garden. And of course if you are a Spice Girls fan like me, you must take a picture on those stairs where the famous "wannabe" song was filmed :))

A Great London Hotel
We love this hotel! We have stayed here before but not for 4 years or so. The location is perfect as it is connected to St. Pancras station and beside the Underground and Kings Cross station. The staff are excellent and the rooms are plush and comfortable. The "Ticket Office" lobby/bar area is beautiful and a perfect spot to eat. We had one minor hiccup at dinner and the Maitre d' resolved it right away. This is not an inexpensive hotel but the service was excellent and staff kept all the promises they made to help us catch an early flight. We highly recommend and will be back.

My new favorite London hotel
I have stayed in over 50 London hotels in the past 30 years of working back and forth between London and NYC and this is my favorite of all of them. It is as historic and charming as Claridge's, as chic as the Edition and more welcoming than both of them. The location is perfect if you have things to do in several parts of London. Almost everything is one direct rail or tube line away, even Paris.

Disppointing
We had dinner and then stayed at the St Pancras Hotel. I had been looking forward to it, having seen the building being renovated when I was a child in the 80s. However the dinner was very disappointing. I ordered the only plant based meal on the menu, which was roast celeriac. When it came, it was just that: roast celeriac on zigzag of balsamic dressing.. no other vegetable or anything on the plate and no side. So I asked the waitress for a side of sprouting broccoli, which I admit, she did say was on the house. However, cubes or roast celeriac and broccoli aren't a great main meal and the place isn't cheap. Also, it was cold - mainly because the ceilings are so high it must be difficult to heat, but it meant we and most other diners were eating in their coats! The room was fine, but nothing special and generally we were sad that it hadn't been the experience we were expecting, although the staff were always polite and helpful.
