Kimpton Fitzroy London

Overall the food and beverage is what really shines at this Kimpton. Bar drinks were good and unique. Restaurant served really good food for dinner (for British standards) and the breakfast was top notch, with service being very polished while being casual. Check-in was ok, room wasn't ready (which is understandable) but then we never received the promised text message once it was. Also despite booking a specific rate with benefits, it was hard to determine if the room was upgraded...it probably was not based on the pictures. Room was well maintained though but dreadfully small and compact. On arrival, for some reason there was no one to help with luggage which is annoying since there are only stairs. However, at check-out, bellhops were very helpful and offered water for the road. The area itself is in a quieter part of London but quite close to St Pancras if you're taking the EuroStar.

I love this hotel! From the second you arrive you are made to feel special. We arrived early because we were going to see Harry Potter which starts in the afternoon. No problem to drop off bags which were then waiting for us in our room when we returned. Not only that, but I mentioned we were going to the show when we checked in and they had Harry Potter souvenirs waiting for us in the room! Amazing service!! I also brought the wrong cable to charge my phone and within about 10 minutes after a call to the front desk they brought a brand new wireless charger to the room!! I also love the history of the building with its connections to the Titanic and I always say hi to Lucky George for luck! We've stayed here twice now and will definitely stay again when we're back in London. Thank you for making our stay so magical!

Stunning hotel, we had the most perfect stay to celebrate our marriage in London. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and made us feel so welcome and looked after. Breakfast was also fantastic with plenty of options for the whole family. We can’t wait to stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at this incredibly beautiful hotel. From long before we arrived, the hotel did an amazing job communicating with us, inquiring about special wishes and needs. Servce was great, room was spacious and the bathroom was to die for (thank you for the design inspiration). Especially in London, in July, it would be easy to get lost in the hustle and bustle transient tourist craziness of London Hotel life, to not pay individual attention to every guest's need and take a uniform approach to everyone's service needs. NOT at the Kimpton Fitzroy London, they truly catered to your individual needs, created a memorable experience and we can't wait to come back!
