Welcome to The Londoner. A staggering edifice on the south west corner of Leicester Square, it is a stage for drama and theatrics. A tribute to the artists, visionaries and eccentrics of the city. Teeming with experiences, its striking spaces and intimate nooks play host to inimitable dining, performances and exhibitions. This is a luxury London hotel, reimagined for the global citizen. The Londoner’s restaurants and bars reflect the city’s eclectic dining scene. Elegant Japanese cuisine features alongside a contemporary take on the French Mediterranean. Bright and airy spaces for breakfast and brunch contrast intimate cocktail and Champagne bars, whilst the rooftop sets the scene for spectacular gazing and grazing. Beneath the historic Leicester Square, an urban haven for holistic pampering awaits. Recharge in the spa. Rejuvenate in the gymnasium. Sip a detoxifying juice or let the hours slip away in the beauty parlour.

We stayed at The Londoner for three nights and had a very enjoyable stay. The location is excellent—especially if you’re planning to see a show in the West End. Right on Leicester Square and only a two-minute walk from the Tube, it made getting around London very easy. It’s also very convenient for Covent Garden and within easy walking distance of Regent Street for shopping, which was ideal for us. Being on the square also gives the hotel a more open feel than many central London properties, and if you have a room facing the square, the views are lovely. We also really appreciated the hotel’s facilities. The gym is very well equipped, and the pool was a real plus—especially with London weather being a bit unpredictable. The lobby has a lovely atmosphere, often with music, and the breakfast area was very pleasant. Access to the Residence Club was another highlight, with complimentary non-alcoholic drinks available throughout the day, which was a very nice extra. Our room was very comfortable, and we slept really well. We were also fortunate to receive an upgrade, which made the stay even more enjoyable. A special thank you to Scott in the Residence Club, who was especially kind and helpful when our daughter wasn’t feeling well and needed a few extra things. We really appreciated the thoughtful support. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily return. We would definitely recommend The Londoner for anyone looking for a comfortable and very well-located stay in central London.

Fabulous hotel in the heart of Leicester Square! The residence is a really nice perk and something unique in a London hotel. The restaurant and bars are all good with very attentive staff who couldn’t do enough for us and our baby. The hotel got a bit rowdy in the bar area Saturday afternoon as its open to the public but that being said that’s where the residence is nice as it’s only for guests staying in the hotel and you get complimentary hot / soft drinks and snacks in a relaxed environment. My wife went in the spa and said it’s one of the best in hotel spas she’s been to. The rooms are very nice, great decor and slightly bigger than normal (London standards are typically very compact) only one bit of advice the curtains don’t block out light great as the pelmet doesn’t cover the rail meaning you get light over the top which then reflects down from the mirror - very minor though. Finally shout out to Lydia on reception who was fantastic. Don’t get me wrong the hotel is expensive but well worth it and I’d definitely return.

Excellent staff, superb welcome and reception, commendable attention to detail and interior design. Electronic toilets. Comfortable residents lounge and very generous complimentary soft drinks and snacks. Very attentive staff. Only criticism is that the standard king rooms are smaller than average with no dedicated room for a bathroom but an ‘open plan’ entry/bathroom/sink area, with separate shower and separate toilet cubicle. However I would still stay here again and highly recommend for a short city break. Slightly strange there is no dedicated vehicle arrival area, inconvenient for drop-off/pick-up but I guess that’s why called a ‘boutique hotel’.
