Incredible building, rooms, and staff
I stayed for two nights and three days and was blown away by the beauty and details of the whole property. The waitstaff was incredible!! Just top notch customer service overall.

Cool oasis in the theater district.
I stayed overnight at the LA Proper Hotel after seeing a show around the corner at the Belasco Theatre. Love the design and style of the property, and my room was so cool and comfortable. Amazing views from the roof-top bar and restaurant too! The staff was so helpful and friendly…5 Star all the way.

Proper Has a Great Reputation & Lives Up to It
If you are looking for a welcoming and comfortable room at a hotel that is expertly run, this is one for strong consideration. Rooftop bar is great, and the food was much better than what I expect from a rooftop bar. I liked everything about the hotel.

Delicious dinner with a great vibe
The cocktails were really yummy!! Especially liked the Gone Girl. So light and refreshing. Ceviche was delicious - had to ask for extra chips though... Short Ribs was another favorite of the group! Good service, wonderful music and overall vibe.

Downtown LA boutique hotel with Marriott Bonvoy
Excellent service at beautifully appointed boutique hotel. Cara Cara rooftop restaurant and bar are go-to in downtown LA for dining with a view. Staff service effort, amenities and decor leave nothing to be desired. Highly recommend this hotel for boutique business or personal travel. I missed out on the complimentary wellness classes offered daily at hotel.
