Wonderful Stay at Mattei's
I have lived in LA my whole life and this hotel has just opened up a whole new world for my family. Easy drive from LA and we were immediately greeted with a high level of professionalism. The hotel is very chic yet charming. They did a great job of keeping the aesthetic in line with its old California heritage. Very laid back and unpretentious environment but clearly a top tier luxury resort. Walking distance to town was super convenient. Being right off the highway was only drawback but not enough to complain about. Will definitely return!

Incredible experience
The property, team, service, food, town, drinks, privacy were perfect. Not a single word out of place. Everything was absolutely perfect and will definitely be coming back.

Wonderful stay
Very charming place with extremely friendly staff. Would definitely recommend as a quick get away. We went for our anniversary and it was very comfortable.

Best spot for a girls trip
My 3 girl friends and I (early 40s) had the best time at Mattei's! The resort is impeccable and the location cannot be beat. We will be back!

Great gateway place!
They need to improve the quality of hospitality and solve the rocky road dust problem asap. Very dusty place, if you stay road side, you breathe only dust and hear noisy road.
