My overall experience here was excellent. The staff, beginning with the Valet that opened our doors and greeted us upon arrival, to the front desk team to the restaurant staff and the housekeeping staff were all inviting, friendly and professional. The room was spacious and clean. The museum setting was nice and the downtown location was perfect. A highlight was the migrating red penguins. It was quite the game to see where they’d end up every day. The downside? The restaurant had a limited menu so we only ate two meals there, 1 breakfast and 1 dinner. The website mentioned a pool, there is not one. That said, I would definitely stay here again and again.

Long story short, we were stuck for a night in Louisville as our flight got canceled. Checking in we were greeted by the front desk agent Anya. I told her the situation and noticed we were tired as it was a late night. She was warm friendly and compassionate. She offered to help with anything we needed. Even giving us drink tickets as it was needed. She offered suggestions on where to eat as it was late. We decided to dine at the hotel because it was open and close by. The restaurant was a half hour from closing for the evening. I know it's not the ideal time to join a restaurant before they close but we had no choice. We were greeted by Sisi who was also our server. She had great energy and didn't mind that we were coming in so close to closing. She helped us with what to order and drink, she even gave us some chocolate truffles at the end of the night. For a very long and rough day, both Sisi and Anya turned our horrible day into a better more restful one. I cannot thank them enough for being so kind.

Not my vibe. The hotel is like a 5 star model? The front desk staff were using their phones and didn’t want to offer help. The restaurant food was not good. The dishes were salty, tiramisu was okay. We had very burned toasts and sausage for breakfast and unsure why they would serve this to customers. The room is disgusting with gross carpet and bathroom with slippery shower floor and old looking tiles. The sofa in the room is also torn. The room we checkin to doesn’t look like the room we booked from pictures. Not sure what went wrong.

Downtown Location is perfect. All the employees were very nice and helpful. The art museum was nice. They have a restaurant and bar with a twist on food and drinks. You are very close to Louisville Slugger, Michters, and Evan William’s. Parking is free in Sundays. We were very happy with our stay.

Saw a review for this hotel on Trip Advisor that talked about their modern art museum and decided to try it out…. LOVED It!! Jared was the highlight of our stay… he was friendly, informative and took time to show us around and point out pieces of interest. The art is wonderful and so unique. Rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. Would definitely stay at a 21c again.
