I came here for a conference and the entire staff was amazing, the food, the atmosphere, and the service was great. My only complaint if you can even call it that is, while I understand this is a historic hotel and many things are left alone to keep the classic beauty, there were many spots that could have used fresh paint, with large chunks of paint peeling on the ceilings and upper walls. That being said that small critique will not keep me from staying here again if I come through town again.

The Brown is beautiful, quiet, large rooms, just a very nice place. The check in folks were nice, went above and beyond as I have mobility issues. The bartender, James, was so on it. The only bartender and he was fast. Plus, the food was good! I slept like a baby.

This hotel is magnificent. A little dated and worn out but worth a trip there. Had a Hot Brown for the first time and it was delicious. Will definitely be back. The chef came out and talked to us also which I thought was very nice of him. We’ll definitely be back.

Stopped for our 40th anniversary and enjoyed the atmosphere inside the hotel. Room was comfortable and clean. Hotel has some great antiques and informational photos to enjoy. Hotel staff was welcoming and provided information regarding surrounding places to visit.

The experience was top notch and everyone from reception to the restaurant offered stellar service. Our clients were thrilled and we hope to come back to see you again next year. Dinner at the Bar & Grill was incredible - Jamal, Kris and Rob took incredible care of the group. The Chef came out and said hello to the table, which really impressed the group...they were talking about it the entire trip. The food and ambience were incredible.
