A splendid experience
The hotel is truly grand. It is luxurious with a beautiful view of the lake. The room was spacious also with a nice view of the lake. The pizza restaurant on the patio provides a splendid option for a drink and casual dinner. The breakfast spread was exceptional. The staff were outstanding. We have stayed there several times and would look forward to coming back.

Our time at the Spendide -- truly "splendide"
Every few years my husband is invited to a conference in Lugano. I only come along when I know we can stay at the Hotel Splendide Royal. This past week was a truly refreshing experience. We had a beautiful room overlooking the lake, in the older part of the hotel, with comfortable bed and great housekeeping service. I spent my first morning in the spa and received the best pedicure I've had in a long time from Francesca. Sumptuous breakfasts every morning at the Veranda restaurant, as well as one excellent dinner there our last night -- and two evenings enjoying drinks and food at the outdoor piazetta restaurant on the first floor. Grateful to the friendly and attentive staff and a lovely, relaxing and elegant place in a beautiful location.

Great Grand Hotel with wonderful service.
We stayed for 2 nights in June. We stay at the Splendid Royal in Rome so we are familiar with the high quality of the brand and were not disappointed. The room in the palace was stunning (as we were use to). The concierge and staff were 5 stars. We had dinner and were not happy with an appetizer which was quickly and wonderfully corrected (thank you great wait staff). The overall experience was wonderful. My only critique would be to upgrade the breakfast buffet, (while ordering other items were available they still could improve it) I would stay here again but I would definitely stay in the palace section.

Experience at Hotel Splendid Lugano
The hotel location was excellent, staff were excellent, you could probably make your breakfast better, hot options for vegetarians .... Ilaria was very helpful and so was Laila. The tiramisu we ordered was amazing ......in conclusion, beautiful experience.

Incredible Hotel on Lake Lugano
Absolutely love this hotel! Lake Lugano is a great option when priced out of Lake Como or just want a different experience. Thsi hotel has so much charm and authenticity, located just across from the lake. You have amazing views from your room and the food outlets are spectacular. Can't recommend this hotel and destination enough.
