True service at its finest
What a lovely experience returning back to this property after so many years. You know there are plenty of chances it’s going to be a great stay when the doorman opens the taxi door and greets you with a smile. By the way , what a nice human being he is. Very nice location, lovely building, pretty good rooms though in need of updating, but beyond anything else, outstanding service. You feel welcome from the moment you come through the door. Special mention to the staff at the Club Lounge. Simply outstanding, making sure that even the little details are taken care of. The female team in charge of the lounge breakfast in the kitchen (Anabel) the lounge (Deyanira) itself and the reception / guest relations ( Susana) is second to none. They really make it feel special at all levels. Just for this experience we shall be returning to this hotel often. Well equipped gym and nice little sauna area. Breakfast in the main restaurant can definitely be improved

Excellent stay! Walking distance to Calle Serrano, beautiful rooms, quiet, clean !! Lounge is very nice, good variation of food! Stuff is always helpful and very nice!

Wonderful hotel in a wonderful city
The Intercontinental Madrid has a charm and elegance about it which, sadly, can be difficult to find these days. Every member of staff we interacted with was lovely and clearly very well trained and the club lounge access was well worth paying extra for. All food we ate in the hotel was very good quality. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay.
