InterContinental Madrid

We experienced exceptional service at the Intercontinental from the minute we walked into the door. We had an issue with passports being left at a previous hotel in Cordoba and the registration staff immediately worked with us and the other hotel us work with the previous hotel to get our passports back to us quickly over a holiday weekend. Shout out to Laura Casado who stayed on top of the details. The restaurant and bar were also excellent, and the staff was attentive and friendly. The Metro is an easy walk from the hotel and you’re able to get to all the central attractions in Madrid quickly. Great location and great service. We will stay here again next time we are in Madrid!

The hotel is in a good location. It is a beautiful building: it is clean, grand, has character, and history. The staff are excellent: Angelina in the front desk was engaging and welcoming. Angel in the front lobby was always ready to assist whether you need directions or help with the luggage. Jose Lopez in the dining room/bar was helpful in food choices. The concierge was helpful in getting a taxi and when we arrive back to the hotel, he checks the back of the taxi/uber to make sure we did not leave anything behind. The breakfast dining staff: Jose Luis Villa, Ognyan, Henymoon, Mercedes and the rest of the staff was very hands-on, accommodating, funny, and highly experienced when taking care of guests. Their attention to detail and checking on the guests needs made dining enjoyable and relaxing. I highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

An amazing hotel, beautiful architecture and clean all around. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially Angelina at the front desk who was very kind. I would definitely recommend.

Located on the fringe of the city centre on a very wide traffic avenue with pleasant central walk way. We walked a lot into Retiro and Grand Via doing 20000 steps per day and the occasional taxi back at about 10€ to Atocha–Almudena station for example. All the staff are professional and welcoming. It’s very traditional and classic style and maintained and cleaned meticulously. Lots of marble and bespoke carpet in a spacious environment. The executive lounge alike is similar with a good selection of food and drinks. The breakfast there was very pleasant with lovely crockery, cutlery and crisp white linen. The happy hour was very happy with top shelf drinks and snacks coupled with a different turine of hot food each evening. The lounge staff were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. Deyanira Rojas bent over backwards in the morning to make our breakfast special. Everyone was great and made our holiday a feel good visit. The housekeeping too was brilliant, not a speck of dust to be found. The crispy quality bedding was changed often and I must congratulate the quality of house work - we had everything we needed. I’m an international jet setter retired top hotelier and I was impressed and happy. Thank you everyone we pay high prices and we received all our expectations. Thank you for your good hospitality, I can highly recommend to future guests considering this place.
