NH Collection Madrid Paseo del Prado

The location was perfect for walking to many of the nearby sites and quaint neighborhoods as well as being able to get a taxi to wherever you wanted to go. The atmosphere is elegant and yet warm, with gracious staff available to help with every need. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable, with water delivered daily as well as a mini bar and coffee maker. Room service is also available. The breakfast offered is spectacular with an abundance of incredible food and also the ability to order individual requests. Again staff went above and beyond to ensure your experience was first rate. The value is affordable for a first class hotel in a first class city. It’s clean, safe and we recommend it 💯! When our train to Sevilla was cancelled, our hotel manager and concierge jumped into action to get us to our destination and even called ahead to the NH Collection in Sevilla to manage our reservation there. We have only the highest of praise for this hotel! Five stars!

Not a bad hotel but a bit far from the main things to see in Madrid. The beds are comfortable and the shower pressure is good but the bathroom is small and cramped. I did not find the staff particularly proactive or helpful. We had an exhausting day when we arrived at almost 10 pm since we were affected by the Iryo Train crash. Our booked trains were cancelled and we were not notified and had to take a completely new train. Upon our check in, our host was neither friendly nor sympathetic to our situation. When I asked if there was an opportunity for a free upgrade she simply said no but offered me another room with an upcharge. Not particularly what I wanted to hear after being at the train station the last 5 hours.

Magnificent location in the center of Madrid - in front of the Prado museum and near the Retiro park. Many nice cafes and restaurants nearby the hotel. The bus stops are just near the entrance. Overall, an excellent hotel with a very helpful and friendly stuff. A big thank you to all of them for making our stay so wonderful. Definitely, I will stay in this hotel again.
