NH Collection Madrid Paseo del Prado overlooks the landmark Neptune fountain in Huertas, a neighborhood teeming with shops, restaurants and cafés. The location of this regal hotel is its prize feature – it’s only a 15-minute walk from Atocha station, which connects the city with high-speed trains. In the evening, don’t stray far: Paco Roncero’s hip tapas bar is a neighborhood destination.

I was in Madrid in NH hotel dealing with an urgent issue that could have ruined my trip. Álvaro, the Guest Relations Manager, spent over two hours helping me with calm professionalism and focus until it was fully resolved. He didn’t just solve the problem – he gave me peace of mind so I could actually enjoy the city. I’m usually very independent, but Álvaro truly made the difference. Thank you for your outstanding service. You’re a true professional and deserve a great career ahead. Huge thank you Alvaro!

This hotel was excellent. Service, cleanliness, location, staff, and manager are like nothing I have experienced. Highly recommend the location for any stay in Spain. Even when there is a mild glitch they jump on things and make sure you feel cared for. I really enjoyed my week with them.

NH Collection Madrid Paseo Del Prado is superbly located for access to local Museums, Botanical Gardens, Campo Del Moro Gardens, an enormous variety of Restaurants, Cafes and Tapas Bars. Hotel reception area is not large but our check-in was quick, efficient and helpful. Elevators nearby (which were totally reliable throughout our stay) whisked us speedily to our 6th floor room. Our room was a good size, comfortable double bed with side tables, large mirror, easy chair and small table, TV and a stand accommodating Kettle, Coffee Machine, Refrigerator, Crockery and a regular supply of water. Fitted wardrobes provided plenty of hanging and storage space although the safe was in an awkward position in the bottom of a wardrobe. An excellent bathroom included toilet, bidet, washstand with large mirror and a spacious walk-in shower with a grab rail. A shaving mirror and top quality toiletries complemented the unit. Housekeeping was immaculate and the room was very quiet (looking over an inner quadrangle) and clear and pleasant lighting. Our group breakfast was taken in a lower level dining room which was spacious, brightly lit and provided an extensive and attractive buffet. Staff were friendly but table beverage service was unco-ordinated. A thoroughly enjoyable stay at a lovely hotel in a wonderful location. Not far to walk to the main Shopping Area and Mercado de san Miguel ( The market that is a must visit). There is a VIPS and a Starbucks next to the hotel, a Chocolate Shop around the corner and for Tapas we enjoyed Cervantes Cerveceria on Plaza De Jesus (do go into the Church opposite). There are many other bars in this area.

NH Collection Paseo del Prado completely exceeded our expectations - the level of service was outstanding, and the staff were attentive, professional, and incredibly welcoming. The location is perfect: the Prado Museum is just across the street on the right, and the Thyssen Museum is on the left. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and cozy, with comfortable beds. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing! We would also like to highlight the excellent hotel bar, as well as the wonderful sweets shop nearby with a huge selection of torrons artesans and chocolates for gifts. We especially loved the pistachio flavor and the chocolate with brandy and truffle - absolutely delicious! We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Madrid.
