The Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Madrid

was visiting Madrid for a day in the first week of February. Checked in at the Westin a bit late as my iryo train from Barcelona to Madrid got delayed. I did prepayment for my reservation and used free night upgrade for the stay. My room was upgraded to a suite facing the Prada museum. It was a very big space and multiple rooms. Property did not have a lounge but breakfast was served in the restaurant. They had huge collection and there was hot station too. Service was good and staff was very prompt to attend to our request. Very good Property in the central location with all the tourist spots near by.

This year we had the pleasure of returning to The Westin Palace Madrid and discovering its beautiful renovation, including the reopening of its magnificent main royal entrance. Stepping inside this historic landmark is always special, but now it feels even more spectacular. The hotel perfectly preserves its classic charm. The grand open spaces, decorated with a subtle Gatsby-inspired style, highlight its nobility and timeless elegance. The corridors are wide and majestic, and the rooms are delicately decorated, combining comfort with refined sophistication. Breakfast is simply a dream — be prepared to forget your diet for a moment. The variety and quality are exceptional, served in an iconic setting that makes every morning feel festive. The location is unbeatable. The hotel is within walking distance of major landmarks such as the Museo del Prado, Palacio de Cibeles, Puerta del Sol, Gran Vía, and Plaza Mayor, surrounded by countless restaurants and cafés. There is also easy access to the metro for longer distances. For globetrotters arriving from the airport, the airport bus stops next to Cibeles, which is extremely practical. During the Christmas season, beyond enjoying the magical street decorations, we visited the traditional Nativity scene at the City Hall and attended beautiful choir performances (check schedules in advance). We also enjoyed the ice-skating rink at Cibeles and attended a show — tickets should ideally be booked at least two months in advance due to high demand.

My stay at The Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Madrid, was absolutely amazing from the moment I arrived. As you enter the driveway, you are immediately surrounded by elegance and grandeur. The welcome is warm and genuine; you truly feel like part of the royal family from the very first interaction. The service throughout the hotel is exceptional. Every team member, from the front desk staff to the room attendants, delivers impeccable attention to detail and makes you feel valued and cared for at all times. Their professionalism and kindness elevate the entire experience. Every corner of the hotel feels like a work of art. The architecture, décor, and historic charm create an atmosphere that is both luxurious and inspiring. Simply walking through the property feels like stepping into a museum of refined beauty. The bedroom was beautiful and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need and more. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was impressively spacious—something I truly appreciated, especially as a woman. The room was so quiet, you could’ve heard a pin drop. That’s how effective the noise control was. For all the amenities and service, the hotel offers wonderful value. You can literally smell the cleanliness throughout the entire property, and even the restrooms in the lobby were spotless. The location is outstanding—central, convenient, and extremely safe—making it perfect for exploring Madrid with peace of mind. This hotel is more than just a place to stay; it’s an unforgettable experience that blends history, luxury, and world-class service seamlessly. I can't wait to go back!

Absolutely wonderful renovation. La Cupula Restaurant and Bar is simply magical with its huge stained glass dome. Ane prices are quite reasonable. The rooms are a nice size and finished beautifully.

Wonderful Stay! My husband I I just returned from our second stay at The Palace and we are already anticipating our return. The hotel is beautiful and because of our Ambassador status, we were upgraded to a gorgeous suite. The breakfast has everything you could possbily want—eggs to order, fresh fruit, yogurt, gyozas...the list goes on. I want to give a particular thank you to Bosco who was lovely to speak with and made sure everything ran smoothly. Do not miss their spectacular opera brunch—lobster, langoustine, Beef Wellington and more! The service was impeccable and everything was delicious. We will definitely be back soon!
