Excellent stay - would certainly go back.
First time in Madrid so we opted for the Thompson Madrid. Could not have made a better choice. We had a terrance room, very clean, we like the style of the rooms - it just works - really enjoyed Bowmakers in the bathroom. The Rooftop pool and lounge area are very nice, we did spend a lot time in the afternoons due to very hot weather. The breakfast at Mendo were so good and fresh prepared and the staff are really attentive. The fitness area is quite big for a european hotel, and they had personal trainer everyday from 9 til 12 in the morning who you could ask questions and advice. All of the staff in the hotel are really focused on customer service which we like. Next time in Madrid, we would certainly stay at The Thompson Madrid.

Totally perfect in every way - definitely 6 stars
Absolutely everything about this property was sublime. Went for a courtyard / larger room which was so peaceful and surreal. Linens top quality and furniture elegant and upbeat. Breakfast area was beautiful and food delicious. Rooftop pool a real bonus - larger than we expected and plenty of seating area. Every single member of the team were friendly and accommodating (even managed to return some clothes I have left in the room). Fantastic location just tucked away behind Gran Via - and public parking across the street. We will definitely return when we are next in Madrid.

Luxury and Warm Hospitality at Thompson Madrid
We stayed at the Thompson in Madrid and absolutely loved our experience. The hotel has a luxurious and modern vibe, and everything—from the lobby to the rooms—felt thoughtfully designed and high-end. Our room was cozy, stylish, and super comfortable. The bathroom, in particular, felt very upscale with a sleek, luxury touch. The service throughout our stay was excellent—the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. If you're looking to stay at a luxury Hyatt property while in Madrid, I’d definitely recommend Thompson. It’s the perfect mix of comfort, elegance, and great hospitality. We truly enjoyed every part of our stay.

Perfect Getaway – Amazing Staff, Location & Breakfast
We had a fantastic stay! The staff were all incredibly welcoming and attentive, every interaction was warm and professional. The property itself was beautifully maintained, and the location couldn’t have been better—close to everything but still peaceful. A special highlight was the wonderful breakfast each morning—fresh, delicious, and with a great variety to suit all tastes. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent service.
