Reviews for Thompson Madrid
Top notch modern hotel with excellent service in perfect location
I had a great 5-night stay at the Thompson. When I checked in I was grateful to receive a free upgrade to a king-size corner suite with a large wrap-around terrace. Although the price was not cheap, the value was very good compared to other 5-star hotels in the City center. Service was great throughout and the location is perfect - just a block or 2 from the Gran Via in one direction and Puerto del Sol in the other, and also midway between the Royal Palace and the museum district. The only thing a bit off was the breakfast - great service but so-so food. On the other hand, the bars in both the rooftop restaurant and Jack's Club in the basement make superb innovative cocktails. Usually I prefer to stay in older, more traditional properties. However, I would be glad to stay here again on my next trip to Madrid.

Simply amazing 👏
Amazing location. In the middle of all the action. You get get anywhere from this location I'ma short time. We rented a connecting suite and both rooms were amazing. The view was great. Beds were comfy and the decor is elegant and clean. Love everything about this hotel. I will only stay here when I visit Madrid again.

Great Gem within Madrid
The hotel is very well kept with great service by the staff. The rooms themselves are very charming and unique, with great facilities. The interior view rooms have an equally great view to the externally facing rooms, and the whole experience felt both very cozy and very elevated. We only wish we had come in warmer weather to properly use the outdoor pool!

Beautiful hotel, excellent location, staff very friendly and helpful, rooms clean and comfortable, breakfast was amazing, I would definitely go back on my next visit to Madrid.
