Reviews for Thompson Madrid
A good choice
It’s located in the city center, with all the main attractions within walking distance. The rooms are very clean, with housekeeping twice a day. The hotel is modern, featuring objects that make it feel almost like a museum. The breakfast area offers a wonderful view that makes it hard to leave. Breakfast is à la carte, of good quality, though we would have preferred to also have a buffet option. The staff are very polite and helpful.

Fantastic staff! Very helpful and genuinely caring. Location is great with easy walk to many area points of interest. The terrace room is worth getting as it has a large space for eating and sitting. Beautiful view over the main outdoor plaza. Rooms and property are well maintained. Shower was very nice and comfortable.

Dismal experience, the standard room doesn't receive any natural light (none, zero, zip, nada) and offers zero privacy, where guests walking through the hallway look directly into your room. The front desk system has a different inventory than the public facing hyatt.com. A very poorly managed property to avoid.

Premium Hotel
Good service, clean room, decently spacious, nice view of the square. Noise level was surprisingly low given how close to the square it was. Location is PRIME -- can walk to most places worth visiting within 10min.
