The Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Madrid, provided a much-needed escape from the July heat in the center of the city. Recently renovated and rebranded, the hotel shows its appreciation for elite members with thoughtful touches like a full breakfast buffet, a welcome amenity, and upgrades pending capacity and availability. I was lucky to have NUAs approved pre-arrival to a Cortes Suite. The suite was bright, comfortable, and well-appointed. Service throughout the hotel was attentive and exceptional. While a few areas appear to have received more cosmetic refreshes than full renovations, the overall experience was refined and elegant—making it an ideal base for exploring Madrid. Given the usual limitations of A/C when traveling in the EU, I was pleasantly surprised to cool the bedroom down to a crisp 17°C. While the living room stayed a bit warmer, the bedroom—the space that mattered most—reached the perfect temperature for those of us who love strong air conditioning. #ACStrong For the price, service, and overall value, I’d happily return to The Palace Madrid again and again.

My wife and I just finished a two night stay at The Palace, using Marriott Bonvoy Points. From start to finish, our stay was simply excellent. The hotel is in a perfect location, very close to the museums and good restaurants. The rooms are elegant and recently renovated, and the room amenities were top quality. The staff were, to a person, friendly and competent -- and made us feel like valued guests. The breakfast was outstanding, and the restaurant setting is truly spectacular under a dome of colored glass. I am a Bonvoy Lifetime Titanium Member and I have stayed in hundreds of hotels over the years, and I can safely say The Palace ranks with the very best. This was our first trip as a couple to Madrid and we are already planning to go back, and will stay again at The Palace when we do.

Even though the hotel has been renovated and the location is great, I would not recommend this hotel. There are some elements that I loved, but the overall experience was not as expected.

We happened to come back to the Palace, after its total renovation had finally concluded – and it was a most pleasant experience. Service was impeccable, from the front desk to the bar (which could improve on its burgers’ quality, but one should order tapas anyway when in Madrid, I guess) and the restaurant, that serves a very nice breakfast indeed. The room was very comfortable, had a very nice bathroom, and with a location on a high floor over the inner courtyard it was quiet, despite the most central Madrid location. Everything brand new and perfectly clean – this will again be our go-to hotel when coming to Madrid.

I just returned The Palace package that I purchased from Luxury Link. It was absolutely lovely. The room was marvelous and the people were so nice and helpful. I must say it was quite a buy. Thank you.

Just returned from 5 night stay in junior suite at Westin Palace Madrid. Breakfasts were excellent as was the dinner. The front desk was very helpful, room comfortable, spacious and well equipped with luxury bath and delightful bed. Service outstanding. Overall, a first class hotel in Madrid. Five nights was just the right amount of time to see Madrid and surrounding sights. This was an excellent value through LL.

My husband and I traveled to Madrid this year and had booked a room at the Westin Palace for three nights. They put us on the special VIP guest floor in a spacious deluxe room with a magnificent marble bathroom and view of the city. If that wasn't enough, they also included a sumptuous breakfast buffet!

The Westin Palace, Madrid, was grand and our accommodations pure luxury. And their dining room served the best roast lamb in town.

I can't say enough about the Westin Palace Hotel-Madrid in Spain. Everything was superb. The room was spacious and very comfortable. I thought that the service was first-rate. Throw in perfect weather like I had and you have the ultimate Madrid experience.
